Individual station managers and even upper management couldn’t care less about the long-term interests of their companies (or their employees). They will embrace programs policies and procedures that will gain for them as much as they can get as fast as they can get it. Regardless, if it is not in their companies interest. Nor do they care how many other people will be affected. They couldn’t care less.
