Along with Mr. Stern's group, the coalition includes: the Service Employees International Union;
the Teamsters; the food and commercial workers; Unite Here, which represents hotel, restaurant and apparel workers; the United Farm Workers of America; the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America; and the Laborers' International Union of North America. All told, the group claims to represent six million workers.
