Is Tonnage Improving at ABF?

Are any of you guys at ABF seeing better tonnage numbers lately? I have heard of a lot of the regional guys saying they're busier and wonder if you all are seeing anything.

Tough to say, just when we think its picking up here in our area, we seem to fall flat again for a while.

At 352 they just brought 3 of the 5 men on layoff back.

I work at 067 Cincy. We have called back 10 guys in the last 90 days. still have 3 laid off. All the overtime you could want.

we have several new accounts and guys are working but I looked at the numbers and they are January numbers not June.

Jeez its going to be a sad day dec 30th when howdy retires from abf and off the board of directors. All of a sudden i think thers more behind this then whats coming out in the print. Who'sthrowing the party to say good bye mr i'm against the union dowdy davidson?
