Default Another side to the story

I have spoken to several people still working. I have not worked full time for 15 months. 10 years senority only gets me on call work when I answer the phone. They are all leaning to a YES vote. They are afraid their gravy train will go away and they will really have to look for a job and actually work. These are the type of people who will get this voted in. Hope I am wrong. I am still one big HELL NO.

Well as I keep telling the mgr any newspaper you pickup they always have ads in there looking for truckdrivers. Yes maybe you won't be driving the right color truck or maybe it won't be a union carrier, but I must look out after my family first. And yes it may be taking me away from my family for days at a time but again I must look out for my family. If we are to give everything away to the companies any time they ask then lets all part now as soon we will be at every beckon call that the company wants, and being in the union over 30 years I don't want to backwards thats why I'm a teamster but a weak teamster I do not want to be. And then the final response from me is that I'm experienced at putting in applications as I put this one in and got hired and to this he shakes his head and walks away mumbling that guys like me are going to take this company down. Not trying to but then I don't make the big decision to fatten my pocetbook at the expense of us the working men and women. Stand strong tall and proud as we are teamsters.
