    Default Slow ? No Work?

Carlisle has parked a city tractor out front along US 11 with a large banner stating that they are hiring city drivers and dockmen.I cannot understand why they need to hire when they say they are not busy and are losing money. This all taking place so soon after the vote............HMMM.

Yes that's right, Now Hiring City and Dock workers. I think they hired 3 this week, there not CDL. Lots of work at Carlisle this past 8 weeks or more, X-board all in daily, shift OT, 6 and 7 punches just about every weekend. This is vacation time also, 20 to 35 guys out weekly. Don't know where the freight came from but it's here. I also hear that HVXP has picked up also.

They changed the sign to add "hiring road drivers" also. We are flat out on the road here. Not sure why dayton still has people laid off? They even voted yes for the give back. Guess that didn't do much good?

Another call tonight but this time husband is in TX. So, so frustrating. They called me rather then him and when I called to tell him, I could here the disappointment and frustration in his voice big time. He LOVED his ABF job!!! Well, they did call back four guys last week. Eleven more to go and then my husband. (Sorry, I may have posted that already)
