HBF, I don't know, but it doesn't look like we got hit too bad at 042, compared to YRC? They took some pretty bad hits? What do you make of all this? From what I have figured overall, when others were losing money big time, howdy somehow made a big profit. Some of us old timers want to keep it the same as it's always been, but we know we need to make some changes. Maybe this is what is needed? Hard to say right now, but it doesn't look like major changes?

I pretty much said my piece in the Roadway change thread ttman. Here it is.
    Can you guys say dinosaurs

Several times in the past few years I and other line haul drivers have had long discussions about what was going to happen to "Us" if something didn't change.

To a man we all agreed that we were dinosaurs in the ltl industry. Did we like the fact that it was obvious that we were going to have to change? Hell no but it was obvious to us if we really looked around at all of the non-union competitors and how they were doing things and taking business away from all the union carriers.

I voted no but not because of the UE. I don't like it when shiny wheels pull into a union barn. They are trouble with a capitol T. Always have been and always will be.

It's like Animo said though Brothers. You have to learn to adapt to change and use it to your benifit. If you don't you will all be just like the dinosaurs.
    A thing of the past.

Yeah but what we really did was go backwards people can call it what they want to. What are the chances of getting non union companies to join if we are made to do the same low down things that they are made to do. Lets see will our retirement funds bring them running to join our union I think not. How about our health coverage we'll see. How about our grievance committees if non union companies post the monthly decisions we would never have anyone joining. Don't get me wrong it is not to the point of being unable to fix but we are quickly approaching the point of no return. LEAVE NO TEAMSTER BEHIND!
