    Default CB Radio shops

If anyone Knows a GOOD CB shop that you trust would like to get a few names. last guy here in St louis ripped me off and dissapeared with a couple old radios.

Now i will be traveling all over and will be running a CB again, kind of looking for a quality tech who knows his way around. If anyone knows of any i would greatly appreciate getting where they are based. beleive i will be mostly medwest to the west coast alot but any info is worth going out of my way to get my old 99 repaired

Get off at the 163 MM on I-44 in Missouri and turn north toward the truckstop. Turn left at the stop sign. Down a little on your right turn right. I think it's called CB10. He does good work and was taught by another good one, his father in law....now passed away....who went by the Wetback. Good people. He's always taken care of any problem I had with my 88.

Wetback died of cancer probably 5 or 6 years ago. He was a good radio man and a good guy just to bs with.

I didn't know that. You're right about him being a good person to deal with. Sometimes when I pull in there for cb repairs, he would do some minor work and wouldn't charge .
Ten-Fer, a cb repair show owner in Sullivan Mo would also go out of his way to help you. Two great CB repair men that are now part of the I-44 CB legacy..

Is Ten Fer the shop right by the used car lot on your left just past the 2nd exit going west?

Correct, He had 2 locations at one time. The first one was on the east outer rd on the south side of 44. Since then they have put up some type of quick shop He was there when we stopped while i was driving for Mclean Trucking.
He then moved his shop very close to the Bobber Truckstop. That was the last I know of.

The best guy on the west coast used to be on I5 in Oregon at Canyonville, but he disappeared. There is a reputable tech at the Pilot on I5 exit 263 in Oregon.

I use 2 places. Q-5 Electronics in Madison,WI I-90 Exit 132 US 51 North upstairs of the Shell Truck stop & Pine Cone Restaurant. Steve & Terry have been doing business for 35 years! I guess they would know what is going on. Both are Extra Class hams.

My other one is Steelrods' Cb Shop I-65 Exit 201 Remington,IN Behind the KFC
