Monkees singer Davy Jones has died after suffering a heart attack. He was 66. Martin County, Florida’s Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed the news, first reported by TMZ. Authorities are still investigating the circumstances surrounding his death, which happened earlier today, according to TMZ.

How absolutely sad! When I was a kid back in the 60's, I never missed their t.v. show. I loved them almost as much as the Beatles!! RIP Davey.

They were one of the best shows on TV at that time and if you could bring them back today, they would still be in the top five. Davy has left and is now " On the last train to Clarksville " and will be greatly missed.
