88,419,000. *This is the highest on record. The flip side, and the reason why the unemployment dropped to 8.1% is that the labor force participation rate just dipped to a new 30 year low of 64.3%.

I do know this. I heard an incoming President state that it may take as many as 10 years to clean this mess up. I think he may have been a little off on his prediction. It may take much longer.
Obama is only as good as his Congress. In my opinion only a handful from both parties are worth a damn. The rest would better serve themselves if they just disappeared.
