After church I wandered into my computer room with my coffee mug to see who is talking.

Some Sunday's ... but not today.
Sun is shining and the weather God is cooperating, so a nice bike ride is in the plans today.
Besides, the kids went to the jersey shore with their cousins, and the wife and I have 2 free days all to our-self !

It's kinda like "Meet The Press" only better (more informative, IMO) on TOL....

    An update.
The day started with sunshine and the heat ramped up quick.
Decided to ride with a group, not my usual style, but the step son invited the wife and me, so why not. His crew led the way and had routes and stopping places planned.
First place I'll mention was Bethlehem, the old steel city in eastern Pa., now a casino and other retail stuff sandwiched between the old mill, falling down and dilapidated in places. Old and new. We didn't go in.
Had lunch in a "biker" type restaurant in Parryville, near the Lehigh river.
Next area was Jim Thorpe Pa., a tourist town I never have stopped into either. Whitewater rafting is the big thing, and retail stores of course.
Headed west towards coal country. The old, and the poor, comes into view soon enough. Frackville, coal operations and the rural America many people never see.
Down towards Pottsville not much has changed either. Reading area the same.
As we headed towards home we need to get on the big highways, 422 in the direction of Valley Forge, the big new outlets come into view. Retail everyplace, from Costco to car dealers.
Then it started to rain ! The last 40 miles down the Schuylkill expressway, though Philadelphia and over the bridge into Jersey.
Got to see a little of everything today. People out enjoying the holiday, spending whatever they have and enjoying the weather and the freedom we have ( Thanks to our fighting brothers ) and this holiday dedicated to them.
300 miles and I was exhausted. Have to say, Pennsylvania is a beautiful state.
    Back to normal today.
