OK fans ! I just found out Netflix is offering a 30 day free trial ... providing you cancel within 3 days of your trial period, there is no change.

The Irishman will start playing on Netflix November 27th.

Hopefully this is the same across the country.

Another story about where Jimmy Hoffa is buried. It mentions the film, "The Irishman", and Jersey City is the place he is now supposed to be buried.

Could Hoffa be buried in the former PJP Landfill in Jersey City?
JERSEY CITY – Could the 40-plus year search for Jimmy Hoffa end in, of all places, Jersey City?
According to evidence reportedly uncovered by Washington, D.C.,-based author Dan Moldea, the answer is yes.
Forty-four years after the famed Teamsters boss disappeared in metro Detroit, Moldea – who wrote “The Hoffa Wars” in 1978 – claimed last week that new leads place Hoffa’s body under a 53-acre area in Jersey City that previously served as the PJP Landfill.
According to an op-ed written for Fox News, Moldea gained his latest insights from Frank Cappola, whose father, Paul Cappola, recounted Hoffa’s final resting place while on his deathbed in 2008. The elder Cappola ran the dump at the time of Hoffa’s disappearance.
Moldea is also critical of Scorsese’s film, which opened in theaters earlier this month and will be on Netflix starting this week, calling it “great-cinema-but-bad-history film fantasy.”

Just spent 31/2 hours watching this great movie. To all that view it on Netflix do yourself a favor and stick around after the credits for the conversation with Scorsese, DeNiro, Pacino and Pesci...well worth it.

Darn ! I watched all the way though the credits because I wanted to make sure they used union labor on this movie. I missed the conversation at the end.
One of the very last credits to roll ... in large graphics on one side was the IA symbol ( ISTSE ) and the other side of the screen was a Teamster symbol.

As for the movie, we thought it was great. I was not familiar with the book and I didn't know what to expect, but was a little shocked to find that it all started in Philly, with local 107 ( my local ) and some of the sights pictured made it seem so real.
The Latin Casino, where all the mob went to see their favorite performers. Jerry Vale was actually "little" Steven, Steve Van Zandt. I missed that during the movie. I lived a stones throw from the Latin back in the day.
Some small nit-picking things I think they could have changed a little.
Never was a Stuckey's up north here, as pictured when Sheeran broke down on the road.
And you can't tell if a timing chain is bad by looking at the distributor cap or wires ... but most wouldn't catch that stuff.

Very interesting. Now I want to read the book.
It may tend to paint unions in a bad light, yet it seems that Hoffa knew they were crooks but worked with them to help the members.
Very good movie. ( IMO )

The Movie was a great picture...there’s no doubts that this is gonna be one of the last Era of Actors of a generation...and as for the Director Marty Scorsese, is one of the greatest Directors ever

I watched it last night. I just wrote and then erased my opinion on this movie. I don't want to ruin it for anyone.
