Default Today is May Day. So what exactly is May Day, anyway?

EVANSVILLE, Ind. -- No doubt you've heard of May Day.

But what is it exactly? Few people seem to know.

Besides being the first day of the month of May - that's today - May Day has its origins in ancient, pagan festivals, as early as 500 B.C., making it one of the world's oldest known holidays.

The ancient Celts even regarded May Day as the single most important day of the whole year.

You want to know what May is?...May Day is 100% as American as ''Apple Pie''...American blood was spilled,Americans were killed,American Mothers cried for their children dying on the streets or in crushed mines or in hellish UNSAFE working conditions in industrial factories...American history and ''PROUD'' American working class legacy was written with American ''BLOOD'' and now being erased, removed from American consciousness Orwellian style by Global Corporate Greed Driven Parasites and Psycopaths..

American working people legacy is praised all over the world where they recognized May Day as a national holiday while American Global Corporate Imperialist Power is widely condemned...American workers struggle is what makes America great...

A call for ALL WORKERS UNITE expresses the reality of Class struggle and Unity of class interests of ALL WORKERS all over the World Oppressed and Exploited by Corporate Global Capitalists under brutal regimes, especially the ones subservient to U.S. Capitalists...

Today is a day that commemorates the NAKED brutality of Capitalist in a quest for COMPLETE domination of every aspect of Society which is like spreading a deadly communicable disease that kills all of Humanity with their ''UNQUENCHABLE GREED''..

But most of all,Class struggle epitomized by May Day is about Systemic change and NOT just temporary fleeting improvements of living conditions of EXPLOITED people and requires that ALL working people around the World must be UNITED in this struggle...

And that is why it will require a REBELLION,if not an outright REVOLUTION that moves the WORKING CLASS into a completely different Way of Thinking,New Social Conversation and Ideas,New Social Relations devoid of GREED,INTIMIDATION,and EXPLOITATION,New Realm of Organized Labor(UNIONS)and of Society...And then We can return to our basic Humanity and Ethics of Common Decency,Empathy, and Compassion...

Yes Lifer,Workers are demonstrating on every continent around the world against Global Corporate Greed,Austerity, and Exploitation...and hopefully it'll be coming to our neighborhoods real soon...

How many people realize that May Day had it origins in the UNION Movement in the United States and that its a National Holiday in many countries...think about it,around the world its celebrated as a Working Class holiday that originated in the US and most Working Class Americans had no idea...Ah Yes,Corporate Media at its finest...keep the Masses divided with everything from bread and circuses to identity politics to Red Team-Blue Team to anything and everything under the sun EXCEPT what really matters to Working Class Americans...Well,the JIG is up and WE Progressives aren't playing their BS game anymore...and that goes for ''BOTH'' Corrupt Political Parties!!!!
