Another trucking company reports they are closing their doors.

Indiana trucking company to close for good, says owner
Dozens of truck drivers will be laid off by the end of the month as an Indiana-based trucking company will be shutting down for good.
Anderson, Indiana-based trucking company A.L.A. Trucking Inc. is closing down for good, according to company’s owner Alan P. Adams, who reached out to CDLLife via email.
Adams says that 41 truck drivers and 15 other employees will be laid off due to the closure, which will be effective as of June 26.
Adams named high insurance costs as a reason for the company shut down. He says that he plans to leave the trucking industry after 42 years in the business.
Just last month, another large driver layoff in Indiana was announced as Penske Logistics said that they would be shutting down their Fort Wayne facility. Eighty employees are set to lose their jobs when layoffs begin in July 20.
