    The world is watching us.

May those affected be at peace. God is watching and crying. All his children matter. Some don't feel that way.

Thoughts and Prayers...until the next Thoughts and Prayers...just like the last Thoughts and Prayers...and the Thoughts and Prayers before that...and the Thoughts and Prayers before that...and before that...and before that...and before that...and before that...and in a couple of weeks it'll all be forgotten...until the next Thoughts and Prayers...and then on and on and on...It makes me wonder as an American...how much of our SOUL we've lost in these senseless killings...

A society in decline is one which does nothing in the face of ''DAILY'' shootings which threatens to unravel the Fabric of Society...A society in decline is one where reactionary thought rules and one cannot voice an opinion contrary to mainstream without being ridiculed, silenced,or shouted down...No amount of delusional ''American Exceptionalism'' thinking can vanquish the specter of decline...Either WE learn to live with it or WE do something about it...

Buried among all the breast beating by 2nd Amendment purists and gun abolitionists is the stark fact that we no longer even have a Semblance(no money?)of a public mental health system...One that might, for example, snare and perhaps render less dangerous a significant number of these 'Disgruntled' souls teetering on the edge of reality(no money?)...

I adhere to neither side of the gun debate,as extremists of both camps live in a NEVERLAND of wishful thinking...but,to 2nd Amendment Libertarians who protest that it is only verifiable mental health cases whose gun rights should bear scrutiny,I ask this...Where did your sympathies lie during the conservative inspired 'Dismantling' of public mental health facilities,(no money?)starting with Reagan and continuing through subsequent administrations BOTH Republican and Democrat?...I have no doubt that both political parties never realized how short sighted their values and principles were, confidently sending mentally ill people back onto the streets and populating our jails...Time Bombs stalking their demons and endangering us all(no money?)...

If you really want to see where a country's ''Priorities'' lie, look at how it allocates its MONEY...The U.S. allocates $750 Billion towards the Military Industrial Complex and Trillions more for nuclear weapons...How many Americans know the Department of Defense and Nuclear Weapons have SEPARATE Budgets worth Trillions of Dollars?...There's NO Money for Mental Healthcare or ANYTHING ELSE that would benefit ALL AMERICANS because OUR Government's top ''PRIORITY'' is ''PROFITING'' from DEATH and DESTRUCTION...At HOME and ABROAD!!!!

It really is too much to take in. To much to wrap your mind around. I am so tired of the gun toting, boasting, racist white guys and so many yelling "your going to take our guns away" while these poor excuses of men continue to destroy and kill.

Our Society ABFwife,Our Society...As Walt Kelly's POGO so aptly stated...''We have met the enemy and it is US''

How do you turn young men into Sociopaths?...Let them spend 10 hours a day playing First Person Shooting Games, watching porn, and in the few remaining hours, reading and posting on global web-sites jammed with outrageous fantasy extremes that anyone can join in...Have your local Priest,Counselor,Teacher abuse them when they are in their pre-teen years...Send them to brutal politically correct gulags known as K-12 Education in America, where they can be secretly mocked, shunned, bullied, and socially locked out of real life...House them in depressing vast suburban wastelands filled with low paying no benefit jobs, struggling families,Walmarts, empty strip malls and parking lots, boredom, drug abuse, and junk food outlets...Jack them up on prescription anti-depressants,OCD and ADHD meds, and industrial waste as food...

And what about the parents, who are supposed to teach their kids right from wrong, how to survive in this world and deal with all the problems it presents, morals, values, respect and compassion for others, and all the other things that takes years and years of diligence and determination to cover...Computers,games,TV,smartphones,etc. are no substitute for a real parent as you can clearly see in society today with the amount of ''FERAL'' kids and young adults you see on a daily basis...People can't practice something they have never been taught and you can't be a parent by being your kids ''Best Friend'' and LETTING technology be your kids BABYSITTER and TEACHER...

Now with that being said,if only life today was like 'The Andy Griffith Show' or 'Leave it to Beaver' in the late 50s,early 60s...but thousands upon thousands upon thousands of today's parents are struggling...Struggling with multiple shit jobs that both parents must work, insecure economic futures, and for almost half the country...Poverty or just teetering on the edge of Poverty...People are working longer hours, driving farther, and making LESS money...They are forced economically out into these barren wastelands of suburbia that are 50 or 100 miles from where the jobs are located...They have to live in the most frayed and battered communities serviced only by cars, with no actual community togetherness features in them, and offering nothing to do for kids...And in many instances the life of the adults is so bleak many of them turn to drugs and booze to deal with their circumstances, while leaving the KIDS to fend for themselves...

When the mentally and emotionally weakest among them turn into sociopaths, buy a gun and begin killing people...The same question is asked over and over again...''Why Would Anyone Do This?''.....Why Indeed!!.....Ain't that America!!!!!!!

Add racism into the mixture. And when you combine that with the social media that is available to everyone, where someone like this kind find thousands of other people that feel likewise and will condone their way of thinking and you have the perfect mixture for disaster.

We were warned, but those voices were silenced. Notice I linked three articles. The first was from 2009. The original report, issued by a team from the DHS analysis shop, the Office of Intelligence and Analysis, said in 2009 that right wing extremism was rising. The department crushed that report and dissolved the team that wrote the analysis because the republicans and the conservative movement objected to what it said.
The second article from 2012 explains the story and why his team was disbanded.
The third is a current story with an interview by the team leader, Daryl Johnson and what he found.

This is the unclassified document from the Department of Homeland Security from April 2009.

The second is the story from 2012.
DHS CRUSHED THIS ANALYST FOR WARNING ABOUT FAR-RIGHT TERROR
But Johnson's career took an unexpected turn in 2009, when an analysis he wrote on the rise of "Right-Wing Extremism" (.pdf) sparked a political controversy. Under pressure from conservatives, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) repudiated Johnson's paper – an especially bitter pill for him to swallow now that Wade Michael Page, a suspected white supremacist, killed at least six people at a Sikh temple in Oak Creek, Wisconsin. For Johnson, the shooting was a reminder that the government's counterterrorism efforts are almost exclusively focused on al-Qaida, even as non-Islamist groups threaten Americans domestically.
"DHS is scoffing at the mission of doing domestic counterterrorism, as is Congress," Johnson tells Danger Room. "There've been no hearings about the rising white supremacist threat, but there's been a long list of attacks over the last few years. But they still hold hearings about Muslim extremism. It's out of balance." But even if that balance was reset, he concedes, that doesn't necessarily mean the feds could have found Page before Sunday's rampage.

The third is the current article with an interview.
'Blood on their hands': the intelligence officer whose warning over white supremacy was ignored
Ten years ago, the Department of Homeland Security sent American law enforcement agencies an intelligence briefing warning of a rising threat of domestic rightwing extremism, including white supremacist terrorism.
The economic recession and the election of America’s first black president would create fertile ground for rightwing radicalization, the 2009 report concluded. Military veterans returning from Iraq and Afghanistan, in particular, would be attractive targets for recruitment.
Republican politicians and conservative pundits reacted with outrage and demanded a retraction. The report was politically motivated and unfairly demonized conservative views, they argued. “Americans are not the enemy. The terrorists are,” the head of the American Legion, a veterans group, wrote.

The endless articles in Corporate Media after each of these terrible tragedies make me want to puke...Let's get this straight right now...There is nothing that Corporate America and the MIC Surveillance State like more then a good mass shooting...There is no better diversion from their immoral and unscrupulous intent,no better way of selling FEAR to the public,no better way to assume more and tighter control with an iron fist in the name of PUBLIC SAFETY,then a good mass shooting...And here's a perfect example...A motorcycle backfire in NYC's Times Square caused a Human Stampede where at least 9 people were injured...People cowering in FEAR,knocking each other down running like Scared Rabbits...Is this what WE Americans have become?...Is this really who WE are?...Scared Sheep?

    https://www.cbsnews.com/news/motorcy...ater-district/

It is indeed our very society that breeds these mass killers like flies...It could be suggested that these mentally and emotionally disturbed flies are INFESTING the bloated corpse that once was,or at least had the potential to become,an even greater country...They are the in your face representation of OUR collective failure to defend that which is Good and Decent and to remember that which is truly Moral and Important,as collectively the masses have traded their values for money, and thirty pieces of silver for the America of OUR Forefathers!!!!!

Mass killers, are a reflection in the mirror,of ALL of US and what WE have allowed OUR society to become...WE ALL should be very ashamed...Millions of Americans can't or won't think for themselves,in order to protect the Bliss of their Delusions!!!!!

Seems the most transparent administration ever has decided they don't want Congress to see any data they have on white supremacist domestic terrorism.

Here's the data on white supremacist terrorism the Trump administration has been 'unable or unwilling' to give to Congress
Alleged white supremacists were responsible for all race-based domestic terrorism incidents in 2018, according to a government document distributed earlier this year to state, local and federal law enforcement.
The document, which has not been previously reported on, becomes public as the Trump administration’s Justice Department has been unable or unwilling to provide data to Congress on white supremacist domestic terrorism.
The data in this document, titled “Domestic Terrorism in 2018,” appears to be what Congress has been asking for — and didn’t get.
In April, the Justice Department and the FBI briefed Senate Judiciary Committee staff on domestic terrorism, nearly six months after Sen. Durbin’s office first requested the briefing,” the aide said. “At the briefing, the DOJ and the FBI were unable or unwilling to provide precise data on white supremacist terrorism, and neither agency has responded to our repeated follow-up questions since the briefing.”
“The Trump administration’s irresponsible decision to stop tracking white supremacist incidents as a separate category of domestic terrorism obfuscates the extent of this threat,” Durbin’s aide said.
In his testimony to the Senate Judiciary Committee last month, FBI Director Wray, when pressed, said the “majority” of domestic terrorism cases last year involved white supremacists. However, Wray did not provide specific figures.

I'm still shaking my head over this. We'll put it in this thread as senseless seems to be a common theme.

Heavily armed man in body armor arrested after causing panic in Missouri Walmart

"Days after a shooter opened fire in an El Paso Walmart, another heavily armed man walked into another Walmart. Springfield, Missouri, police Lt. Mike Lucas*told reporters,*“He walked in here, heavily armed with body armor on, in military fatigues, and caused a great amount of panic inside the store” as shoppers’ minds went to El Paso and Dayton.

The 20-something white man was wearing fatigues and body armor and carrying a tactical rifle, handgun, and 100 rounds of ammunition. Basically the mass shooter uniform, in other words. While panicked shoppers fled after a store manager pulled a fire alarm, the man “was taking video on his phone and making comments to people while pushing a shopping cart,” the*Springfield News-Leader*reports.

The—what do we call him? pretend shooter? potential shooter? menacer?—jackass was detained by an armed off-duty firefighter, and Lucas said, “His intent was not to cause peace or comfort to anybody that was in the business here. In fact, he’s lucky he’s alive still, to be honest.” The question, though, is whether what he did was technically illegal. Missouri allows open carry of firearms, with a critical exception: It’s illegal to display a firearm in an “angry or threatening manner.” Does walking into a store in a chain that’s recently experienced a mass shooting carrying the equipment for a mass shooting count as threatening? Stay tuned."
