Heads up to all on the roads over the holiday weekend. Be safe, travel smart and be careful during inclement weather.
This appears to be a concerted effort to help the traveling public while at the same time to raise revenues by writing tickets.
Don't waste your hard earned money. Slow down, buckle that seat belt and only drink after you reach your destination.

Blitz Alert: Troopers placed every 20 miles of 2,555 mile interstate
Multiple state police agencies are teaming up for a major enforcement effort during the holiday weekend.
Troopers in eight states will be participating in an enforcement campaign along I-40 starting this week for the annual “I-40 Challenge”. The participating states are North Carolina, Tennessee, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and California.
The enforcement effort will be focused on the two biggest Thanksgiving travel times — Wednesday, November 27, 2019 from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. and Sunday, December 1, 2019 from 10 a.m. through 10 p.m.

Troopers will be placed every 20 miles along the 2,555 mile long I-40 corridor on the lookout for unsafe driving behaviors like distracted driving, seatbelt violations, impaired drivers, and speeding.
