The tentative agreement amd the clerical agreement are both post here, in Word Format.

Much too long to try to cut-n-paste, and no direct link.

Obviously I am a little jaded with my view but the way they are laying off people with approved contracts in other areas of the country I would vote no. Unless of course I am in the top 10% of employees then I might vote yes. At the end of the day if there is no provision for severance pay or how long before they can make layoffs I would vote no.

This is for an extension on our last contract (1 yr) and retro pay from April 1st when our contract expired. Everyone who was layed off will get the retro pay, but not if they vote no! They will reconvene in February to continue talks on the next contract. The ones that want to vote no just don't understand and alot haven't been with the company long enough to understand what this means or really care. They just want to screw the ones that DO keep their jobs as though it's the fault of the ones with higher senoirity for being hired years before them! This is also for the future of the company and I for one want to see this company survive and not succumb to what's happening to alot of other companies right now, crumbling, default, bankruptcy!

Then you have my support, good explanation, trying to screw others is just worthless. I hope it works out for you.

We had the meeting today and the vote was 238 YES and 53 NO! We had a great turnout and it seemed everyone was in a positive mood and it showed!

One guy wore a DHL shirt with the I'm On IT on the back and put and X thru On It and wrote LAYED OFF underneath, I wonder which way HE voted!
