You just have to see them interact with the company to realize it, The Union was kissing the Company's *** at my hearing. The Company never asked any questions while the union stopped me more than once from presenting evidence to help me. Isn't the panel my advocates as well as the BA who never represented me for crap?
If you are waiting for your BA's or leaders of your local, well you are going to be waiting a long time. Until someone within the union uses the constitution or Bill of Rights to get them to open up some files and communications with the company your toast.

Wow,
I'm sorry to hear that you had the same experience that I went through, I was absolutely soldout at my hearing to the point where my ba asked my shop steward not to show up, to the point where at the panel my ba never even asked a question in my behalf, like you say it seemed it was a done deal well beforehand, It became very evident that my representation took backseat to there comfortable association. Never felt so betrayed my only question was what was being given in return. BOL on monday
