Re: DHL not informing the Teamsters of any changes
I Have been the steward at my place for some time I also had to show the members how to be strong and willing to fight for their rights. It has not always been easy and I have not been perfect in everything I have done but I try to do the right thing. Now we are mighty because we try to do what is right. Many times the only thing a TEAMSTER of today See's is a weak self serving Union official telling them to just be glad they have a job. Quad we deserve better. My dad god bless his soul was a honest man a thoughtful man so there fore me and many others would have followed him into any battle he asked us to. Because he did not stand behind us he stood in front of us. I have paid dues for over thirty years I have fought many battles for my union Brothers and sisters many of which are now out of work due to the decisions made by politicians and my very own union officials at no fault of the members, jobs were lost or shipped to other countries. But who is left to pay the price. We just spent millions on the elections. Millions spent on already rich people while BROTHERS AND SISTERS are homeless and hungry. Now I ask were is the justice. If you are always seeing a weak lazy self serving official would you feel brave. Now is the time to go big or go home. We are either going to win as a team or we will surely fall if we stay divided. YOUR BROTHER ALWAYS.
Re: DHL not informing the Teamsters of any changes
I agree Brother, Go to the hall and keep asking for a Union job don't let them off the hook. Tell them you will learn to work the freight dock. Tell them they should be cross training all you DHL TEAMSTERS and starting a CDL qualifying school. Anything to help replace your old jobs. YOUR BROTHER ALWAYS.
