    Default Continuing lay offs...

I actually got laid off then fired which I figured would be good because I would be able to get back pay if reinstated plus company is going down the tubes. Today they are laying off two more routes. (total of 9 people in what was a 27 member station.)

Now they want to rebid the station when contract only says they are allowed 1 bid semi-annually. Since bids just happen in August I would think they would at least need to wait until October.

Oh well BA won't return calls. Steward and Asst. Steward took a volountary day off and went to the gambling boats. Such is life.

Default I read the 3 contracts...

that were given to me and I searched them online and the only operational needs statement is for bi-annual. Consdier our first bid was late July, late august is not bi-annual.

Not sure what contract you work under but most contracts read that they must bid annualy (Usually April ) but they can bid on a daily basis if they really want to.But yours might read a little different if you are not under Master Freight.

Has anyone tallied the amount of drivers on layoff from DHL in America? Right now I would have to say it would number quite a few. I cannot find a number of layoffs anywhere.

Wish you the best my brothers and sisters.
