Rep. Peter DeFazio moves to put Mexico-U.S. truck deal in the ditch
I like this guy!!! At least someone besides the IBT is trying to do something to save our truckers' jobs.
WASHINGTON -- On the same day that the United States and Mexico signed a hard won agreement allowing each country's trucks total access to roadways on both sides of the border, Rep. Peter DeFazio renewed his criticism of the pact, calling it "a bad deal for American truck drivers and the traveling public."

I really think you'll see many more mexican trucks coming this way than american trucks going that way.

Re: Rep. Peter DeFazio moves to put Mexico-U.S. truck deal in the ditch
DeFazio has always been on the trucker's side on this.
The Defazio family actually owns the property that the old Yellow yard in Portland sits on. It has to be true....YRC doesn't own anything anymore.
