Well IMO you can add a day to each lane for interline reasons and will probably result in the errosion of freight into those lanes due to the delayed delivery times.

Re: Holland's Letter to it's Employees.
This may happen with the Richmond and Wichita freight because that's being transferred over to YRC but I don't think it will happen in the Northeast. New Penn already delivers all of Holland's freight in New England without any delays. All Holland's freight for New Penn enters the system at one or 2 points and goes right into the New Penn system. This will only be an expansion of the current system so there will be no additional delays.

Re: Holland's Letter to it's Employees.
I wonder how many of the RED STAR guys that got hired on at NEW PENN, left and went to HOLLAND when they came into the north east. Instead of staying at NEW PENN. There were a more then a few at the Baltimore terminal.

Re: Holland's Letter to it's Employees.
I would imagine you had a few who remained dedicated to the USF brand at the time. Then again you had a few who stayed because of the seniority issue and the way it was handled by Holland.. Either way they did what they thought they had to do at the time. Can't blame anyone for thinking they can better themselves if the opportunity arises.
