February 14, 2010 - Jimmy would have been 97 years old. Happy Birthday Jimmy! I would like to see this day remembered as we do with other notable people who have made their mark in history. He was a remarkable man who stood up for the working class. Thank you Jimmy, for all you have done to improve the lives of working people.

Just got done watching the biography channel and they had a clip on there about mobsters featuring Jimmy Hoffa. I have watched this several times and it is an interesting show. It goes all thru his rise to President to the battles with the Kennedy's.

I have the DVDs of A&E Biography on Jimmy and Where's Jimmy Hoffa?: The Life and Disappearance of a Labor Legend. I never like how the classify him as a Mobster.

I'm currently looking for the ABC News Specials Close Up: James Riddle "Jimmy" Hoffa and the History Channel: History's Mysteries:Where Is Jimmy Hoffa.

It will be hard to ever find another like Jimmy Hoffa. He grew up dirt poor and busted his knuckles for the union movement. The time has past for people like that; we are all soft compared to guys from the 30's and 40's.
