Running the Atlantic City area back in the 90's, doing P&D work for CF, I had the daily opportunity to see, and hear, first hand how much Trump did ( and didn't do ) for the town.
From laborers, to contractors, and everybody in between, all felt he was the cause of so many failures of the small businessman. People never paid, lawsuits for every petty thing, a city that had pinned high hopes on Mr. Wonderful. They only saw it all crash down around those that extended their hopes and dreams on the word of a con man.
As for his supposed money. No proof. Never saw a tax return.
We have seen multiple bankruptcy's of things he's touched.
We've heard of the US banks that won't finance his ventures.
He fits in with the Bernie Madoff crowd. ( IMO )

Plenty of non-union contractors and workers in every city. All deserve a chance to survive. You can't survive when you provide work, materials and supplies all to see your investment vanish under a bankruptcy, or a petty lawsuit over money owed, etc.
The bankruptcy's ( you state "bankruptcy", as in singular ) occurred in 1991, The Trump Taj followed by the Trump’s Castle Casinos in 1992. Those were the A.C. casino's. Also in 1992 it was the Trump plaza , NYC hotel. Then in 2004 and 2009 for Trump Hotels and Casinos Resorts followed by Trump Entertainment Resorts. That's just the hotel and entertainment end.
Other failed companies range from Trump University, Trump airlines, Trump mortgage, Trump vodka and even an on-line travel site. Plus a handful of others.
BTW, how many work sites did you deliver to in NYC ? Not Westchester ... NYC ?
Bottom line, his businesses have had many failures and money issues.
Nobody knows what his real financial condition is because of his failure to allow people to see what is reported to the IRS.
With no proof provided, I don't believe he is wealthy or an able businessman. His father might have been, but Donald, NOPE.
"My opinion only" concerning his finances and wealth.
The bankruptcy's are public knowledge.

Is he a ruthless employer?? Most likely but that's how business works..
Now over the years I have read many stories about the lawsuits in Atlantic city.. Trumps biggest mistake was taken the cheapest bid.. many small contractors get in over their head.. They submit low ball bids just to get the job..Once they get the contract they have to cut corners.. And when they get caught and don't get paid they complain.. I also read that many times they were told to come back and do the job right.. In the long run it is always "you get what you pay for''
Personally I couldn't care about his taxes.. Your obsessed with them as the MSM is.. Rachel Maddow somehow got a hold of one of his returns and made a big deal about it on her show.. That backfired on her as on that return he did pay his fair share ..

This says it all because it looks like several of you forgot or weren't paying attention
Timeline: Trump administration's response to coronavirus
As the virus continues to spread across the United States, the nation is reeling, with schools closed, sporting and cultural events shut down, and an economy in danger of lapsing into recession.
An examination of how the Trump administration responded to the coronavirus outbreak that was first documented in December reveals a story of missed opportunities, mismanagement and a president who resisted the advice of experts urging a more aggressive response. All the while, Trump made a series of upbeat claims, some of which were flatly false, including that the number of cases was declining in the U.S. and that “anybody who needs a test gets a test.”

Trump was still the CEO and personally managed operations right up until the 2009 filing. He didn't relinquish management responsibilities until 2017 after he became president.

Nice to know your part of the internal workings of the Trump organization and know those were the cheap bids.
What I will concede to is that there are two sides to every story.
Here is the side from those that suffered.
Trump Taj Mahal bankruptcy still angers small contractors
A quarter of a century had passed since Donald Trump refused to pay $1.2 million for the paving stones her late husband installed at Atlantic City's Taj Mahal casino. But for Paone and others like her — the dozens of contractors and their families who never got all they were owed.
The contractor who provided the onion domes atop the Taj had to eat $2 million in losses. The contractor who supplied the Carrara marble from Italy ended up filing for personal bankruptcy. The contractor who put in the bathroom partitions had to lay off his brother.
After the Taj opened in April 1990, the self-anointed "King of Debt" owed $70 million to 253 contractors employing thousands who built the domes and minarets, put up the glass and drywall, laid the pipes and installed everything from chandeliers to bathroom fixtures. A year later, when the casino collapsed into bankruptcy, those owed the most got only 33 cents in cash for each dollar owed, with promises of another 50 cents later. It took years to get the rest, assuming the companies survived long enough to collect.
Personally I couldn't care about his taxes.. Your obsessed with them as the MSM is.. Rachel Maddow somehow got a hold of one of his returns and made a big deal about it on her show.. That backfired on her as on that return he did pay his fair share ..
My point of his taxes are only to show there is no proof of his wealth or his financial expertise.
I don't care what Ms. Maddow said, or did.
All I know is without proof, there is NO PROOF.
He's a crook, a grifter, a con-man and a consummate liar.

Plenty of blame to go around yet the words "I take no responsibility" ring in my ears.
A true leader at some point must admit to some misjudgments or incorrect guidance. I've yet to hear that.
