  • Corona virus and the media

The media since Trump has been in office have gone out of their way to try and discredit him. Now they are using the virus. It will all backfire on them. Some make ass's out of themselves on a daily basis.

    https://m.washingtontimes.com/news/2...d-19-against-/

Make no mistake: The complaints about media politicizing this crisis are accurate and well deserved. If anything, considering the magnitude of the crisis before us, these criticisms are understated.

Readers of The Washington Post, for instance, have been told that this deadly virus is “Trump’s Chernobyl,” while viewers of CNN’s Editor-at-Large, Chris Cillizza, learned that it is “Donald Trump’s Katrina.”

In a story that diagnosed the president as “pathological,” Slate offered a different but equally snarky take. “This isn’t Trump’s Katrina,” Slate said. “It’s stupid, slow-motion 9/11.”

Meanwhile, The New York Times’ Gail Collins’ contribution to fighting the pandemic has been to suggest a new sobriquet. Coronavirus, she suggested, should be renamed “Trumpvirus.”

At what should be — what must be — a time of national unity, a biased, one-sided national media is tearing us apart.

When are so called reporters gonna start just reporting the news rather than put their opinion in it ???This reporter has I believe worked for CNN and PBS. This is not the first time she has made a fool of herself, she does it quite frequently on the Liberal media channels..

. "You said that African Americans and Latinos should avoid alcohol, drugs, and tobacco. You also said do it for your abuela, do it for Big Mama and Pop-Pop. There are some people online who are already offended by that language and the idea that you're saying that behaviors might be leading to these high death rates," Alcindor told Adams. "Do you, I guess, have a response to people who might be offended by the language that you used?"

Is it the media that wishes to discredit Der Fuhrer and his revolving door administration or is it the other way around? Hmmmmmmm.

I see. Without a doubt it's the media? When questions are asked of words that left the Liar in Chief's mouth, his actions, or that of the boot licking brigade in his orbit, that there are recordings of, it is the media that is guilty of creating this atmosphere. Joseph Goebbels must be smiling from that special place in hell that was reserved for him.

I am sure that you totally enjoy when a reporter, lets say Jim Acosta from CNN asks a stupid question so he gets two minutes of fame.. Yesterday I think it was Acosta asked Trump about his Happy time briefings.. Last week a reporter asked Trump just how many deaths would be acceptable.. The list goes on and on.. But I am sure you enjoy those moments no matter just how stupid there reporters act..

"There is no such thing as a stupid question, only stupid answers". "A question might be uninformed, tangential, or seemingly irrelevant, but, whether the presenter perceives it to be stupid or not, every audience member has every right to ask any sort of question". <Colin Powell>

I tend to agree with Colin Powell and I can assure you he doesn't think much of the Goebbels approach of discrediting the media for the questions they ask.

When questions are asked of words that left the Liar in Chief's mouth, his actions, or that of the boot licking brigade in his orbit, that there are recordings of, the media isn't guilty of discredit. That is what we have in a country that still has a free press.

Whether or not you consider them stupid or not ̶s̶h̶o̶w̶s̶ ̶y̶o̶u̶r̶ ̶i̶n̶t̶e̶l̶l̶e̶c̶t̶ ..These reporters go out of their way to try and get Trump on a trick question..Maybe CNN could have a contest to submit questions to ask Trump at his press briefings.. That way all ten of their listeners could participate and maybe even give them a trophy..

Here is another example of just how deranged some in the media are.. This one from a Washington Post reporter

Deranged WaPo Writer: ‘Biden Needs To Accuse Trump Of Willingness To Kill People’

                  https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/202...72EKbc-BgJ9PoM

The 2016 election caused some people in media to truly lose their minds.
Perhaps no one more so than the Washington Post’s supposedly conservative writer Jennifer Rubin.
She has used her position at the Post to bash Trump for three years and has even reversed her opinions on certain policy issues just so she can criticize him.
She is of course backing Joe Biden and recently gave him some advice on Twitter.

Re: Corona virus and the media

CNN a opinionated news media outlet..

Why Tuesday was the most important (and scary) day of the coronavirus fight so far

                      https://www.cnn.com/2020/05/06/polit...nce/index.html

Tuesday was the day that the Trump administration essentially admitted that they had done everything they could (or were willing) to do to contain the coronavirus and dampen its effect on the populace -- and that the only thing left to do now was start getting back to normal and hope for the best.

No one said those exact words, but the message was quite clear.
