    Default New England Pension Fund

Before I contact the Fund this week, has anyone been able to verify YRCW is in fact making pension payments (25%) to the funds since June 1? Thanks.

I would have to figure that you would have to wait till at least the middle of July before you check to see if they paid for the month of June.I have also heard that it might be that they pay every three months which it would bring it till Sept..Now that would be a good question "How often is YRCW going to make their pension payments."

    And Mai Tai welcome to

    I concur , Crazy.
Previously, they had paid CSPF monthly, for the previous month...that is until they stopped paying altogether.
I have not seen or read anything that would suggest a different payment schedule for either fund.

Philadelphia area fund usually receives payment towards the end of the next month, July in this case. The Health & Welfare payments are received then also. We have not been informed officially of how the money will be allocated or used for our pension funding either.

I just checked today on the Philadelphia area H & W fund site and noticed that I have been given June pension credits.
Still no official word on how those credits will be used or added to our time, but at least we are back restarting the pension once again.

It's time the union grow a pair and send out a 72 hour shut down notice to YRCW in any region that hasn't made pension contributions.Enough is enough of this bull shitt! It's time to start paying as promised!

I'll take a shot at that one. The NE Fund lists the amount of contributions each month. Go to Nettipf.com get password and log in

[QUOTE]You earn Contributory Credit for hours worked in covered employment during the contribution period. Working at least 1,800 hours in a calendar year earns 12 months of pension credit. Working less than 1,800 hours earns months of Pension Credit according to the Table 14 in the Tables section of this Website. .
You work the 1800 hours in the calendar year you earn 12 months of pension credit. Period. If YRC contributes only 25% of what they should contribute it's not your prob. It's the Fund's prob.

    for now anyhow
