Message to YRC.......There is NO EXCUSE for losing money and low freight levels with all of this......Earn your big bucks Overland Park......we,at New Penn should feel totally secure in our jobs with all of this....and all YRC wants to do is wreck everything it seems....NO EXCUSE FOR LOW FREIGHT LEVELS AND LACK OF PROFITS.

the Lehigh Valley is also among the nation’s largest logistics hubs, ranking second globally for growth in industrial rents. Its highway network is packed with trucks at all hours, which serve 40 percent of U.S. consumers along the eastern seaboard.

Why,with all of the opportunity for freight(posted right above "second largest GLOBALLY)........would you take drivers and put them on the dock? It would seem you need more drivers not less......and then the whole COO coming may cause alot of guys going from road to city...bumping guys onto stupid shifts they got off of a long time ago.......seems they have a goal to make drivers quit.
All of this available freight and city drivers now do the same as road...go places and sit and weight for trailers to be loaded.....a lot of drivers on both boards just waiting.....not moving. Are the few customers we sit at really paying so much more than others could pay?
I don't know the whole money deal....but when I see guys just sitting and waiting for hours and hours everyday....can we be making any money?
Then, with all of this available freight we have guys with CDL only going out for a few hours and doing half or most of a shift on dock.
I have no clue why, with all the available freight here...why would you take road drivers and pit them on dock...
And push people into wanting to quit.
It doesn't seem to make any sense.
The new DC's like 53's. That's one difference.
Seems if they really wanted to profit they need more drivers. And they'd need to up the wages....and go back to the banks and say "we need to make money so we need more drivers and must up the pay"
The government is $20+ trillion in debt and they don't change......YRC needs to tell the banks...the government keeps going....we are gonna too....wait for your money we must increase Teamster pay to get more drivers.
