UNION GAP, Wash. -- A semi-truck carrying sun protectant for cherries turned over on its side at the Valley Mall Blvd. roundabout. The truck spilled some of its contents and caused traffic delays at the roundabout. Washington State Patrol was also on scene to direct traffic.

Firefighters say they need to unload the Raynox sunburn protectant from the truck before they can safely turn it upright. Union Gap Police are still investigating the cause of the accident -- they believe speed and weight could have been factors causing the overturn.

The protectant spilled out of the truck along with some of the vehicle's oil. Authorities are working to keep the mixture away from drains.

Well they never updated it so I will.

Seems that they had loaded six totes of the sun protectant single file in a long box with no blocking pulled with a single axel tractor. Tried to go through a round-about. Didn't work.

The truck had less than 500 miles on it. And it was being followed by the owners, heading to the golf course. I think they might have missed their T-time.
