    Default Recruiter?

Great use of funds, David. You use to have the vast majority of your employees recruit for your company (or rather your fathers company) for free. Now you spend to have it done. Still stepping over dollars to pick up pennies.

Didn't someone say you can't fix stupid even with duck tape?

Just another tax write off. Besides, that means someone else is telling him how to run what was once a successful company. "Business consultants" are another tax write off. All meant to instruct the stupid on how to manage what probably ran by itself before.

Well I guess now their recruiter will have some serious hiring to do. Seems as though David about blew a gasket when they discovered there is a driver that looks like Willy Nelson, another that has hair from the Mod Squad, and others that have more tattoos than a escaped con. The all time best is the one that has "F..k You" across his knuckles.

The company appearance policy has been similar to Big Brown. Except beards must be "neatly trimmed." What ever that means. About 2005 one guy was getting beat up over his beard. Then on the cover of the winter edition of the Dead Oak Leaf News they had a driver in a Santa outfit with a cute little girl on his lap. Funny how he had the same beard that he wore to work daily. No double standard there.

Mr. Mod Squad was hired as a scab, funny how he joined the Union when we came back. When told he would have to trim up he reportedly told the TM "Old D is hiring." TM said "Well I don't want to loose an experienced driver." Willy said "I was looking for a job when you hired me." Lots of the P&D guys have visible neck tats and an ear stud.

The Union, HR, and David have put policy on hold for the time while they try to figure out how to avoid a certain lawsuit. Less than six months ago they had us sign a review of dress appearance. I just signed mine with my initials which happen to be BS. I used to sign all their crap Richard M Nixon till they asked me to stop.

I learned a LONG time ago that hair, tats and jewelry don't make the person but I doubt if David will ever learn this. But it is his company he can make his own rules. But he can't change them after his minions hired a freak show. Because I have been told my the Portland TM "I can rest assure you there is NO double standard at OHFL. Whatever.

I wonder how long till there is a lot of TM's replaced.

Glad I escaped that funny farm.
