I hope the Teamsters challenge this, because management threw their dockworkers, it was suppose to be only the drivers!

There are some interesting comments left at the end of this article.

Second Con-way Terminal Joins Teamsters; Two Vote No

In downtown Los Angeles, a narrow majority of employees voted in favor of union representation, while workers at the company’s Santa Fe Springs and San Fernando Valley locations voted against representation.

"We were gratified that our employees in Santa Fe Springs and San Fernando Valley, after hearing all the facts, chose to maintain their union-free status and voted to reject the union,” said Greg Lehmkuhl, president of Con-way Freight.

Lehmkuhl added that the company was disappointed with the results of the election in downtown Los Angeles, and is currently investigating whether any unlawful or other conduct occurred that may have interfered with the employees' right to make a free decision in the election.

You can sure tell the educated responses apart from the company propaganda. Sadly, some will never see the light.

Yes sadly and only because some people find it a waste of their time to get educated.

All one really needs to do is look at a wider spectrum of the world, the economy as a whole.
Then look at the wealth, the corporations and massive profits that flow though the hands of a few.
But some people are blinded by just their little world. Bills to pay, a house and car payment, credit cards and that weekly paycheck.
Do they risk standing up for a little bigger slice of pie, or do they just walk the line ?
Propaganda plays a big part in the equation too.
It's like listening to the political fighting on who will help us and do what is right ...

    ''A moment's insight is sometimes worth a life's experience.''-Oliver Wendell Holmes

We can only hope and pray that the men and women at Con-way and Fed-Ex EMBRACE this Historical Moment with their OWN bolt of lightning insight.Don't just SETTLE for the Status Quo.Don't just play second fiddle to the Corporate overlords you work for.DIGNITY and RESPECT are not just words from by-gone years.I don't care how you try to spin it,like many on TB,if your NON-UNION,YOU ARE DANCING TO WHATEVER TUNE THEY ORDER YOU TO DANCE TO.It's your CHOICE.It's your INSIGHT.But TOGETHER-IT CAN BE OUR VISION.

''Where there is no vision, the people perish''-Proverbs-29;18
