Default Snapshot is method use in the communist era and the nazi era

    Snapshot=constructive termination

Global Sourcing: Standards for worldwide partners

Snapshot of a Global Compliance Audit
FEDEX USE THIS METHOD ON THE EMPLOYEES!!!

A Global Compliance auditor or third-party auditor arrives unannounced at a randomly chosen company. He or she, accompanied by the manager, walks through the company for a full day, recording observations and responses to more than 400 questions; pointing out immediately correctable issues; reviewing job title information, plus personnel records and wages; and interviewing employees privately.

The auditor then recaps findings and corrective actions with the manager and human resources representative. Our analysts ask for a resolution plan and deadline, and a follow-up audit determines whether corrective actions have been taken; if not, the corporate is charged for audit costs. If a corporate is in compliance by the third audit, corporate enforce productivity in that facilities for a year.

To keep our team members and third-party auditors safe, any severe violations i.e., bribery, illegal transshipment, corporal punishment or underage labor that would cause immediate termination of a corporate relationship are not disclosed to the corporate manager by the auditor.

( in other words CONSTRUCTIVE TERMINATION WAYS,... THERE IS YOUR PROOF!!!! )
IF WE HAD A COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENT, THIS SNAPSHOT CRAP WOULDN'T PEND ON US...

I know you're working hard to convince people the union would be good for them. But when you start comparing things to Communism and Nazism you sound a little like the hard right wing wackos that say the same thing. Guys like Rush and Beck throw those terms around a lot.

We have two groups in are yard. Probably the same two that exist at every yard. The one group that does nothing but bitc* and moan and does nothing but bad mouth the company they work for. Then the other group that doesn't think the company is that bad and gets tired of listening to the same boring BS that comes from the complainers.

Maybe instead talk positively about the union and what the union can really do for them. Keep the hating BS to yourself, you might get farther with people this way.

I know this snapshot deal you talk about as well. I've never seen anyone get fired over anything to do with it. I've seen plenty of people fall far short of company goals and they continue to work.
Union or not the snapshot's will stay. Pure and simple its a way for the company to see what areas the terminal needs to improve on. It's called trying to keep the company running properly and profitable so we can all continue to have a job.

What a coincidence that when we started organizing FedEx Frt in 2006, in late 2007 they started Snapshot compliance and FedExFreightworkplace anti-union website...

Never say never. One down, 30,000 to go.

A man I admire and respect took one for the team. Brother Nuno received his walking papers from FedEx.

A simple oversight, mistake, being human, what ever you want to call it cost this man his job. FedEx used this very "snapshot" to terminate his employment. It is very real and it is very serious. Currently, FedEx employees have no protection against it. If they want you fired, they will get it done and this is their preferred method. Simple language in a labor agreement could prevent such abuse.

Prior to traveling to the IBT convention in Las Vegas Nevada, brother Nuno was doing what he does day in and day out for FedEx. Delivering freight for Fred. On this particular day, Joe misplaced a few of his delivery receipts and didn't turn them in with the others. He found them later under some other paperwork in his briefcase. Joe was disciplined and placed on administrative leave for his mistake. Administrative leave? For forgetting to turn in a few DR's? Give me a friggen break!

Call it what it is FedEx. It is Union Busting 101. The worst thing that could happen to you for this terrible crime at my Union barn would be a little chat with the manager and a verbal or written warning letter issued. So the hard copy of the DR didn't make it to imaging until the next day. Big deal. Is it worth firing a long term employee for? I think not.

The icing on this crap cake Freddy is trying to feed Joe is the phone call that came just 2 hours prior to his taking the stage at the convention to speak. The nutless pukes didn't have the guts to fire him face to face.

This Teamster, Steward, and proud Union member will take great pride in seeing justice served. I will enjoy watching Joe, and the Teamsters, pound this squarely up your butt Freddy. Long, deep and hard. You derserve it. You sir, are an arsehole.

Now for the FedEx employees that frequent this site, there is a great lesson to be learned here. Do you want an actual voice in your place of employment or do you wish to have it squelched? You can continue to be good little servants and accept the scraps from the table or you can stand up together and demand some respect. The choice is yours.

It would be so easy to run and hide. Crawl up inside the nether regions of your supervisors where it is safe and warm. Many will do this. It is what they are and where they want to be. In time they will learn that no amount of banana washing will suffice. Your day will come and without protection afforded you from a binding labor agreement, well, pucker up buttercup, you will be working overtime on the bosses to no avail.

Men like Joe are few and far between. He stood toe to toe with Fred. He asked questions of Fred. He voiced his opinion. He fought for the rights of all FedEx employees. Freddy definitely showed how he feels about your opinions. He doesn't want you to have one.

That is a great post 222lifer. It's sad to hear about Joe losing his job for something that is chicken **** to misplacing his delivery receipt. That goes to show you that Fedex can single anybody out for those who try to organize Fedex Freight to join the Teamsters. Your right! Typical Union busting 101. I know Joe Nuno For awhile. I've been helping Joe and Fedex freight organizing committee from our Joint Council 42. I been talking to Fedex Freight drivers in Orange County,CA educating them for the purpose to join the Teamsters. I have also been providing Joe the list of phone numbers of the drivers that i've been talking to. Joe is a stand up man and won't backed down for nothing. He is also a straight shooter and i'm pretty sure he told his boss like it is. Our local conducts an organizing workshop meeting every second Sunday on each month that Joe and the rest of the Fedex freight employees attend to. I will talk to Joe tomorrow and find out the outcome from his termination. I'm pretty sure lawsuit will be involve for wrongful termination.

It's Communism or Facism, not Nazism. Actually, the term Nazi, is a short for National Socialism.
