    Default Snapshot=entrapment

    SIMPLY COMPLIANCE - snapSHOT - www.simply-compliance.com

This is how they flag an employee at FedEx; it's an entrapment system to weed out seniority and the trouble makers (pro-union)

When you go into this site, click on every point and educate yourself, this is the the formula to eliminate the employees of FedEx Freight.

Wow! Took a quick tour. FedEx may not be the only one using this "fleet management" tool.

You can configure SnapSHOT to track and alert you to almost anything you choose. For example if you want to know how much you are spending on trailer doors you can setup SnapSHOT to track and report on this. Of course this is just one example. It is completely open to tracking whatever you choose on your drivers, vehicles, trailers and equipment.

Setup and track any type of incident you choose and optionally flag drivers based on incidents. For instance you could setup an incident type of Late For Work and have it flag the driver when they accumulate a given number within a given timeframe. Once the driver is flagged you can log the disciplinary action taken for use at a later date. If the driver is flagged again for being Late for Work you then can refer back to the previous disciplinary action and escalate it.
Flagging of drivers and showing increasing discipline can be used to show due diligence on the companies behalf during audits and in fighting fines against the company. It can also be used to root out the “bad apples” which is viewed favorably by insurance companies.

Not quite sure how you'd weed out simple seniority as a direct cause for discipline

They been doing this since American Freightways corporate took over Viking corporate, it seems that there is animosity against all the old Viking employees.
Because there is a majority of ex-management from Spartan, Cole Express and the old original Central Freightways that are running FedEx Freight and holding hatred on us, because when all those companies were shut down by Viking Corp/R.S.I (Roadway Service Incorporated)
About seniority being weed out is true, because majority of those seniority are pro-union, and those young pups that are driving now are plain ignorant and naive employees that swallows the Kool-Aid that FedEx gives them.
The new generation that FedEx wants now, are those that response to, THANK SIR MAY I HAVE ANOTHER!!!

Well, I guess it could be considered, an early chapter of my world. Snapshot is not a bad system, it is still useful. However, this is more of my world.

You know, that type of technology.

Dammit!!! I need to transfer to your terminal. Sounds like I would be at the top of the board by now.
I see senior guys getting away with all sorts of stuff and never get fired. Show up to work late, can't complete runs on time, move 2bills an hour on the dock, day .... after day after day, crash trucks into a snow bank avoiding "deer" in the middle of winter on a mtn top pass. Some of the things I've seen drivers get away with is crazy.
2yr guy gets fired for an accident FDXF deemed to be his fault. This was after the cop cited the driver of the 4wheeler for cutting said FDXF driver off.

Thank you sir may I have another!!!

I feel the same way..I had three paint scratch and one ticket in my car all staring in 2007 2009 2010 then in Feb 17 2012 i had a roll away . I pulled out from my two trailers and set the trailer brake and not the parking brake ,the tractor roll about twenty feet,no damage done, FedEx took away my Benefit, vacation and cut my pay to part time dock worker with out warning. I know of at let five drivers that were warned before anything happen to them if they got a fifth accident ,(that's what FedEx calls an accident, a paint scratch in the yard) they were given the opposition to work the dock with full drivers pay, I was not give that oppertunity,I'm 58 years old and can't live on $200.00 a week. What they did to me was not fare...Scott
