    Default Fed-Ex at its best..

I know this happened last year but this story seems to be getting a lot of press right now..

Police File Raises Serious Questions Surrounding FedEx Employee - FOX13 News, WHBQ FOX 13

The problems were so bad Warren said he “didn't feel safe going to work,” according to an anonymous call he made to a FedEx employee tip line. In that call, Chandler reported a coworker told him to “Shut the **** up white boy,” that he “felt threatened,” and that he "feared retaliation by all the people" he was reporting.
The investigator "could not see how it would be physically possible for the operator, (name redacted) to purposely lower the lift on his body due to the amount of time (10-12 seconds) it took to reach the ground, unless Warren was being held in the position."

When FOX13 asked Warren's family if they ultimately thought his death was an accident or intentional, Baggott answered, “I don't know, I don't know, I can't say these people did something on purpose when I don't know.”

The family told FOX13 they might not ever know because of one big missing piece of the puzzle; the night Warren died, police were never even called to the scene.

The 102-page police file goes on to show a botched investigation into Warren's death, not botched by the police. They weren't even notified until days after he died, and by that time the scene had already been cleaned up and cleared out.

“Whether something intentional happened or not, they're covering something up,” Baggott said.

According to the report, FedEx never even called police the night of Warren's death:

“The closest agency available was the Airport Police and they should have been notified immediately on the night of July 2, 2014, and clearly were not."

The report goes on to say Airport Police officials only found out about what happened when they saw it on the news, and:

"The Memphis Police Department was not notified and was not made aware of the incident until the 8th of July,” which was six days later
I am not sure about if the police have to or not be called for an accidental death but this one definitely raises red flags.. FedEx at its best..

It appears to me that FedEx calls all the shots at the Memphis Shelby County Airport Authority. Just how could the ambulance responding to this accident have gained access to the secured area without the Airport police having been notified? Someone had to let them through security. I would think that it automatic that security notifies the airport police. It's hard to believe they had to see it on the news.

Before the increased airport security of 9/11 my petite middle aged sister in law had a disagreement with a Continental A/L agent while boarding a connecting flight at Memphis intl. Airport. She wound up spending a night from hell in the Memphis Shelby County jail. The charges were later dismissed.

Again I am sure the anti side are fine with this policy. There are many who I bet have seen all kinds of events at the company and were not handled correctly. Money = cover up.

The anti crown seem to discount the power of the media. One day there will be a situation that can't be buried by mountains of cash in turn for silence.
