Re: Attn Chicago
Dearest Brothers and Sisters, and those who fight the fights that need fighting. There are a great many things about this strike that to this very minute go unanswered. Chicago and their most recent fallout from the flock being one of them.
If any of you have been keeping track, you'll find humor in what I have to say next. Remember Bill Plunkett? The name should ring a bell. He was, not sure if he still is the hired media representative for Waste Management. Where was Mr. Plunkett 3 years ago? In Chicago. What did Mr. Plunkett do in Chicago? He was the hired representative for the Chicago Waste Haulers Association. Well aint that pretty? A hired gun who flys by night back and forth. Why haven't we seen Mr. Plunkett on the news dishing the slop to the lowly garbage people? He's in Chicago silly. Do the math. That's right kids, bought and paid for and worth every penny, to Waste that is.
To my Brothers and Sisters in Chicago. It hurts but only for a minute. This is not a fight we are in any need of help to accomplish on our own. If we made it though last winter without you guys on board, we can certainly brave a cold shoulder from bear country.
To Hoffa Jr. I hope to God you have got an ace up your sleeve. I'd really hate to think that we were made to be the sacrificial lamb in place of Chicago. In short, sign this and leave Milwaukee to dry. 220. Two hundred and twenty men and women that haul azz and don't hesitate to kick it when we need to . Numbers don't mean anything if your not true to your cause.
People who stand together, stand tall and stand proud in the face of the dangers set out by corporate america and those to the similar, are called Unions. People who pay dues, make deals then head for the hills are called politicians.
I hope to God i'm wrong. If i'm not, may you get what you deserve.
D.

Re: Attn Chicago
In my own opinion, the man has been in Washington D.C. for too long.
Too many of them have forgotten what it's like to do the jobs we do everyday. Their salaries and life styles are way out of wack. They need A dose of reality.
