Is there anyone that can tell me the local number that represents the waste haulers there I need to look up there web site

It's either 731 or 786 for Chicago proper, but I do believe it's 731, at least 1 yard in Cicero, Il. SouthWest of Chicago it's 179, has 1 WM yard, Joliet/Rockdale. West of Chicago it's 673, not sure if it has WM?

You are correct sir on 731, 673 and 179. The P.O. 731 is involved with the Solid Waste division of the IBT. Assistant director I think.

So glad to hear someone is stepping up to call them on this shortcoming! There are many rumors flying, hopefully they will be rectified soon so we can get our Local 200 drivers back on the road with a pension secured with pay raises! Thanks!

I agree 100%! I am so outraged that I am not sleeping! So please know we are standing strong, no matter the stress. We are fortunate to have one of us working elsewhere, unlike yourself MZGarbageWoman. So, I know my stress is little compared to yours, since both you and your husband are working for WM. I wish you the best of luck and hopefully WM will get the next offer right! I don't want anyone else to get hurt physically or financially. All I can say is Thank God for the Union!
