oh the hard times at ups

dont know if your getting the run of the bull crap in your center or not, up here we are hearing about how ups it hurting so bad in the economy,,, boo hoo then we see things like this..

ups has a wage freeze on management this yr. good thing these fellas beat the deadline, whew...

oh i sure do feel better now about losing our safe driving awards and yrs of service awards, that 50 dollar gift would be better suited to pay for these a**holes salary.

7 to 12 yrs left of my sentence and ill be free..hope i can hold on.

i heard that in the chicagoland area that most UPS hubs would be relocated to the CACH to save money. just a rumor but wow not hiring anymore but giving him a few million.

Times are so tough here that we have to file a grievance to get uniforms. Management told us that we are limited to ordering 2 pair of shorts right now..........

And tomorrow they'll give you a warning letter for wearing a shabby uniform not adhearing to the dress code. The brand and apperance is soooo important and you can't get new uniforms, management speaks out both sides of their mouth. At UPS Freight we get write ups left and right for uniform infractions, yet the first thing the customers see are the jalopies we are driving, backing up to their dock. Upper management needs to put their money where their mouth is, if the brand is so important put some of that extra cash into uniforms and equipment. I never realized the crap UPS TEAMSTERS had to put up with day after day after day. I couldn't imagine working for ups without union representation. THANK YOU TEAMSTERS!!!!!!!

I have been getting alot of miles out of my old Riverside brand uniforms, especially the ones with the Olympics logo on them. I just refuse to wear the Chinese junk they want us to wear now. For the most part management leaves me alone, cause most of them are sick and tired of having to constantly reorder shirts and pants that only last a few days and the stitching comes out of them. Ive got a couple of old shirts that the lapels are wore through because of the shoulder harness. I just tell them there is proof that I wear my seat belt at all times!!
