Default crazy story from a retired ups driver

Met a fellow UPS driver the other day on my route, He is a retired driver from florida, we got talking about how it was a good job, management sucks and the usual, then I told him about how I almost quite after a few days of driving(it was christmas time) and he proceeded to tell me about when he was a rookie driver down in florida how he almost quite to, his reasons were a little different than mine. Story goes he was delivering in a residential part of town,( I believe Tampa or one of the bigger cities), It was dark and he only had one stop left, it was a box of peaches, as he was walking he noticed a fella coming towards him, he couldnt really make it out but it looked like a gun the guy had, as the ups driver got closer he could see it was a gun so the driver not thinking smacks the guy with the box of peaches, it only fazed the guy a little, so the driver jumps on the guy trying to get the gun away from the fella, as he is doing this he is obviously yelling for help, the driver ends up getting the gun out of the guys hands and throws in into a yard, two ladies seeing what was happening run back into their house to call the cops, after wrestling for a bit they break apart and the driver starts booking back to his truck, the other fellas gets his gun and takes a shot at the driver, luckily missing him, the criminal was just about to chase the ups driver when he sees a guy come out of his house across the street so instead the criminal takes the homeowner hostage, ties him up doesnt kill him though, and eventually takes off, of course by this time the neighborhood is lit up with copters squad cars etc. etc. they did end up catching the guy later that night, and after the driver gave his statements to the police it was around 1 to 2 AM when he pulled into the building to punch out,
here he is grass stains all over his clothes his shirt torn his knees all bloody from rolling around not to mention being shot at, and the night supervisor comes over to him and asks him what he is doing, the driver tells him he is doing his turn in and punching out to go home,, the night supervisor didnt ask the driver how he is, if he is ok or what not, instead he tells the driver that he did not correctly turn in some paperwork from the night before and told the driver not to let it happen again

This driver had alot more patience than me, I would be serving time right now cause I would have killed that supervisor.

it by tps report you mean totally pointless sh## report, you have hit the nail on the head cause thats what most of the paperwork by management is.

the paperwork was his c.o.d. turn in ,, up until about 8 years ago we used to collect cash and check for our C.O.D's so their was a litte paperwork involved nothing very major, but apparently it was to this loser supervisor..
