UPS Duetch-heads!!!!!

The subtitles aren't the easiest to read, but there is an underlying tone here, not just the union busting actions.
I'm not an expert in much, let alone economics, but Germany has fought it's way out of a recession themselves. For lack of a better word, the government has "helped" large German corporations drive down wages for the last five or ten years, in an effort, they claim, to better compete in the global market.
I don't have direct experience, but from most UPS employees I've talked to, UPS is the leader in the bunghole department.

well atleast he is putting up a fight! our guys cant even follow the contract together by takeing a lunch and breaks! and the thing that is just the final kick in the nuts its our senior guys who we know we can never count on unless it directly affects them! sad so sad! so as usf cut man power our guys will continue to work harder speeding down the road not stopping even to friggin piss! jumping start times hooking their own sets in a union barn .... on and on... anyway interesting video!

I guess I can strike UPS, off my list off places to work. I am way to lazy for that type of physical assault. I load, I park, and I leave out the next morning. After all we are union right.

This may be why we get alot of former UPS drivers and others from UPS at DHL. Ifinally asked the latest hire why he left UPS and he said he got tired of getting treated like crap!

i can tell you first hand that they are a**holes to work for.

if you can put up with the 15 minutes in the morning and 15 minutes at night when you get in , the rest of the day is great.. there are days that it gets to me but the more years i put in the more i dont give a flying crap and do it the way im going to do it, and if they dont like it they can fire me, oh but thats right they cant find people who want to work here because jobs are plentiful up here and people see the hard work we do and dont want the b.s.

and besides i do the job right, no complaints from customers and my time allowances are good, so they the only complaint they have about me is that i stand up for myself and others and use the old grievance when it is needed.
i know that if this job was not a union job i would not be working here.
