For all the people who bemoan the piece of crap politicians that we have in Washington, and what they do, I am surprised by the absolute venom directed at this lady. She has been assaulted by the left continuously.
The hypocracy of the so called woman rights groups is stark. It's ok to defame, libel and trash this woman to no end and their silence is deafening. You see Sarah Palin has a fatal flaw, she's conservative and that simply cannot be. How is it that we always say we are for the little guy, the working man , if you will and when someone like Sarah Palin who is us, a regular everyday person who got involved, now she has to be utterly destroyed simply because she's well, not politically correct.
If she was a democrat the left would hail her to no end, but she's not so she can't be. As men have we come to the point where we longer stand up for chivalry and defend honor for honors sake? Are we now so bane that this is sport? I understand that peolple may disagree politically, but is it necessary to ruin people. In Alaska since the election democrats have filed phony ethic suits against this woman continuously to destroy her financially. She has to hire lawyers at her own expense to defend herself from these charges no matter how trivial and untrue. This is a concentrated effort that has caused this woman to run up personal lawyer bills over 200,000.
She now has had to open a trust fund where people can donate to help her with these bills. Is this what we now espouse in our politics? To engage in this type of behavior is intrinsically evil and morally bankrupt.
The Lincoln-Douglas debates were intense and sometimes heated, but they always remained gentlemen toward each other. Perhaps if we had more Mr. Smith/Mrs. Smith goes to Wasington we wouldn't have the huge mess that both parties and their lifelong politicians have brought to this country.
