Default The slow poisoning of America

The reason I opened this thread in the political forum is because all the actions of these companies go back to elected officials and the bribes that the politicians accept..

A genetically modified rose by any other name may smell sweet, but it could still have frankenthorns that might independently detach themselves and lop off your finger while you’re smelling it. That’s not unlike a trip to the grocery store these days. There are a lot of ugly surprises in pretty, charmingly-named packages.

Amazing thing is just how much these companies will pay just to NOT let us know what is in our food.. I have had to make a life style change in what I eat and over the last few months have been amazed what goes on in our food industry.. To me it is just plain sickening..

    Thanks for this info.
I have felt that much of what I eat may be related to some of my health issues.
That list has me wondering and I believe I will print it and keep it handy.

From what I have found out is a lot of these companies cannot do business in Europe because of what they have done to the food.. That is also another reason I no longer drink any domestic beers as they also are filled with garbage.. AB being the worst..

Our biggest enemy here is our government.. and the FDA...

On the subject of beer. During my vacation I noticed my ability to consume more, with much less after effects.
Even a brew I don't like here, was very tasty over there. ( Guinness )

    Cheers

My beer of choice right now is Heineken and now I wonder why they like other import beers are not brewed in the states.. I have been to Central America South America and through out the Caribbean and Heineken is brewed in many countries by micro breweries... It has to be the ingredients.. I do know that American wheat and grain are not allowed in Europe because of the GMA's ..

I tasted the Heineken ... and most other brews during my stay.
It tasted clean, much better then bottled.
My overall choice I kept going back and getting was Carlsberg.
Bud was in many pubs, with those ice caked spouts ... never tried one.
Stella was considered the "Bud" beer. Nobody drank it.
