Default Scott Walker victory opens doors for a new wave of conservative bills — and a preside

And they are saying the same thing here in NM about Governor Susana Martinez. I would not vote for either even if they were the last politicians on the planet!
Emboldened by a decisive victory and expanded Republican majorities at the state Capitol, Gov. Scott Walker on Wednesday pushed for a new wave of conservative legislation and government overhauls as speculation heats up about him as a possible 2016 presidential contender.

Walker says he hopes to fast-track the state budget process, expand the taxpayer-funded school voucher program, require drug tests for those seeking food stamps and unemployment benefits, and continue income and property tax cuts.

“We’re going to be even more aggressive now,” Walker told members of his Cabinet on Wednesday at the Capitol. “Because I think we’ve got an even stronger ally in the Legislature.”
Oh and I am sure we will see this aggression all over the country now!

As usual, you are on the money Dear Lady. The GOP is going to take this election and run with it

John Boehner, who thinks solely in Grover Norquist talking points, says he has 40 jobs bills lined up.Every one of them is a tax cut and or a relaxation of regulation.Their going right for the jugular. It's just smart politics. The only consolation is both Boehner and McConnell will still have fractured caucuses'.The TP will see to that.

require drug tests for those seeking food stamps and unemployment benefits,
This needs to be expanded,................I think all state, county, and municipal employees and ALL ELECTED officials should be tested monthly,...........

I have a different opinion on the election results. Sure the GOP benefited from low voter turnout, but the teaparty got trounced. I believe the electorate is tired of the do nothing congress and knew the house was too GOP entrenched to change. Here is my thought. The more moderate republicans won the day because the electorate wants to see if government can actually get something done. This is their chance to move some bills, if they try to implement a too extreme agenda they will be thoroughly trounced in the next election which is not very far away and looks likely to be a democrat elected president. The GOP has been handed a very narrow runway and they could run off it very easily. Now is the time for the Teddy Roosevelt, Nelson Rockefeller types to stand up and be counted.
