We Have a Winner! Scott Walker Is the Worst Governor in America
With a list of horrible governors across the country, including Sam Brownback (Kan.), Chris Christie (N.J.), Nikki Haley (S.C.), Bobby Jindal (La.), John Kasich (Ohio), Paul LePage (Maine), Rick Snyder (Mich.) and Rick Scott (Fla.), and up-and-comers like Asa Hutchinson (Ark.) and Bruce Rauner (Ill.), it's hard to imagine how Scott Walker (Wis.) could rise to the top of the heap. And it is a pretty big heap. But that's just what he's done with his latest comments, comparing working families to terrorists in the Islamic State, also known as ISIS. And knowing how Republican primary voters think, Walker probably just shot to the top of the party's presidential contender list, too.

Ding Ding Ding ... we have a winner ... and millions of losers.
    Will he run, you bet.
    Can he win ?
I believe, thankfully, that a great division still exists within the die hard right wing crowd.
They want Cruz ( is he an American ) Dr. Ben ( foot in mouth disease ) Christie ( big mouth disease ) Perry ( awaiting trial ) and the list goes on.
Whoever wins the republican nomination will still find it hard to capture the votes needed to win the Presidency.
Then again, so will the democrats.

Court denies motion to temporarily halt Right to Work in Wisconsin
    MADISON -

On Thursday, the Dane County Circuit denied a motion seeking to temporarily halt the recently enacted “Right-to-Work” law (2015 Wisconsin Act 1).

While the lawsuit will continue the Dane County Circuit Court ultimately will hear arguments and decide whether Act 1 is constitutional. The court today only decided that the law will remain in effect pending the outcome of the lawsuit.

“We remain confident the Right-to-Work law ultimately will be upheld as constitutional,” said Attorney General Brad Schimel.

Wisconsin Lawmakers Go After Workers’ Weekends

I can see this becoming very abused. What about the person who won't or can't versus the person who will always be willing. I can see problems arising.
Two Wisconsin state lawmakers have proposed a bill that would roll back the state’s requirement that companies give workers at least one day off every seven days.

Currently, state law mandates a 24-hour rest period every seven days for employees in factory and mercantile workplaces. The bill would create an exemption allowing workers to voluntarily opt out of the rest period and keep working more than seven consecutive days.

There is already a process by which employers can request waivers from the requirement from the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development, and Rep. Mark Born (R), one of the bill’s creators, points out himself that it has never rejected such a request. His bill “simply allows employers to ask employees if they want to work overtime when it’s available,” he said.
