I know you don't agree with this. The USA was founded as a Christian Nation. Not the above mentioned religions. The rest of you post has some good points though. I will get to them later... Go to get now. And how you can tell who is more likely to be correct is unlike other religions Jesus raised from the dead. This is documented by history if you choose to believe it. The other religions can't and don't claim this.

I believe the U.S. was founded by Christians, as a secular nation, where anyone of any religion could worship freely. This has been borne out throughout our history. Your next point about Jesus being raised from the dead, I haven't entirely bought into that. That requires a leap of faith that I just haven't managed to do. A coma, I can buy...a zombie-like condition (drug induced or whatever) maybe. But actually being dead and coming back to life? Well, I can't see that happening now, let alone 2000 years ago. I know millions believe it happened, and I can't say for sure it didn't...but I would like to see a medical doctor show me how that could be possible. As far as my other points in the post, I'm sure it's going to get worse before it gets better. I just wonder how much worse it can get before we see desperate measures being taken by people. How many times can you tell your kids there is no food before you pick up a gun and steal to get it? Labor is already devalued. We're just an entry in a ledger book, to be reduced to the lowest possible cost. You may have a job today, but tomorrow who knows? Look at the plummeting dollar. Remember the reports of after WWI, when the German people had to take wheelbarrows full of money just to buy a loaf of bread? That was a big reason for the advent of the Nazi Party. People were desperate for change, and anybody who would promise it. Sound familiar? Now, of course, we aren't there yet...but do we have to wait for that to happen here? We need real solutions, not pandering from any political party.
