I would never call you a commie. I also appreciate your views, but in my own humble opinion, the two party system we have now is not working. Until we get a Labor Party, I'll stay tagged as a Libertarian. I agreed with more of what Ron Paul (I realize he ran on the Republican ticket, but look at his stances) stands for than Hilary and Barrack combined. I also don't believe that any politician is the answer now. I believe our only hope is revolt. The people aren't mad enough yet, and they probably won't be in either of our lives. So I will just keep plugging along voting independant.

No worries, I was not accusing you. I am also in complete agreement with you about the two parties. Although we need friends in high places, I just cannot support a party that has dropped the ball for working people and unions so many times, while still taking our money, using unions as a personal expense account and free support during campaigns.

And there is a Labor Party in existence, with some union support.

    Labor Party

And I think that people are mad, but there is no channel for their frustrations, no one offering any solutions that they can join up with. I think we are in a prime moment where unions should be voicing the concerns of working people in a forceful way. Change comes from below, this I believe. We can't rely on politicians to do it for us. The economy is slumping, the housing market has crashed, gas prices and food prices are up, and jobs just don't pay. It has to break sooner or later. We need to be out there, through our unions, speaking to working people. But then again, we also have plenty on our plates!

I agree with ya snowflake, its no wonder people sympathized with groups like the freemen of montana, or guys like Gordon Kahl, they may be an extreme example but if the government keeps running this country into the ground and the seperation between the filthy rich and the rest of us increases i feel more of these groups are going to pop up.

They sure will. In fact they already are. It's gotta happen. These Corporations and our "Government" are not "for the people" anymore.

They ought to, it was invented because of politicians.
