I stand by what I posted . Complete and utter nonsense?? That's your opinion and you are certainly entitled to it. Polls?? Never said I believe them but lately anytime I post something I am asked for a source so I mentioned it. How did them polls work for Hillary and how did they get them so wrong. Have you ever been called for a poll?? I haven't and do not know anyone that has. But then again we don't answer the phone if we don't know the phone number.

Here are some democrats that voted against passage of the PRO bill recently. Those people need to be voted out, along with all the others that vote against union working class interests.

Communications Workers tell DCCC to cut off House Democrats who voted against labor bill
The Communications Workers of America told House Democrats Tuesday to deny campaign funds to the seven Democrats who voted against final passage of a bill to expand labor rights.
The CWA, which represents 700,000 workers, made its request in a letter to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. In the letter, the union said that in opposing final passage of the Protecting the Right to Organize (PRO) Act, the seven House Democrats "voted against a core and fundamental principle of the Democratic Party."

The PRO Act passed the House earlier this month on a 224-194 vote, with five Republicans voting in favor. It is not expected to clear the Senate.
The PRO Act, if it were to become law, would create the broadest expansion of labor rights in seven decades. The bill would, among other things, allow employees to form a union via card check if workers can demonstrate employer interference, and would allow the NLRB to impose fines on employers. Under current law, the NLRB may order reinstatement or collection of back pay, but it can't level fines.
The PRO Act has drawn strong opposition from the business lobby. The Chamber of Commerce said the bill "does not bode well for workers, employers or the economy," and said it represented the biggest threat from labor since the Employee Free Choice Act, which would have restored card check. That bill failed in the Senate by a narrow margin in 2007.

Am with you that "Polls" may not mean a lot.......but I would not bet the House on Trump....this one may be a nail biter... But if Bernie does not get the nomination than IMO he (Trump) will win in a landslide...I will not vote.

Thanks for being honest. I have two boys who feel the same as you. They also stayed home in 2016. Although they have admitted Trump has changed their mind a wee bit they still like Bernie. But I disagree with you on the nail biter. Personally I think the Dems are imploding. Kinda what the Republicans did during the 2016 election..But in the end they held it together to get Trump elected.

America does have big problems with economic inequality, over priced and under performing healthcare, and a tax system structure that insures the middle and lower classes bear the cost of maintaining and running the country while wealthy billionaires like Trump and Bloomberg put their money in the bank or buy up everything in sight...This election, more than any recent election, will be a clear battle in the ''Class'' war that has been going on for the past 40 years....With the millions upon millions of Working Class Americans who SAT OUT the last election because of 2 lousy choices...If Bernie gets the nomination, and that's a big if...Trump is a one term President...Not even close...

Google brokered convention and you will read it from whatever news source you prefer.
LAS VEGAS — Mike Bloomberg is privately lobbying Democratic Party officials and donors allied with his moderate opponents to flip their allegiance to him — and block Bernie Sanders — in the event of a brokered national convention.

The effort, largely executed by Bloomberg’s senior state-level advisers in recent weeks, attempts to prime Bloomberg for a second-ballot contest at the Democratic National Convention in July by poaching supporters of Joe Biden and other moderate Democrats, according to two Democratic strategists familiar with the talks and unaffiliated with Bloomberg.

“There’s a whole operation going on, which is genius,” said one of the strategists, who is unaffiliated with any campaign. “And it’s going to help them win on the second ballot … They’re telling them that’s their strategy.”

It’s a presumptuous play for a candidate who hasn’t yet won a delegate or even appeared on a ballot. And it could also bring havoc to the convention, raising the prospect of party insiders delivering the nomination to a billionaire over a progressive populist.

More on brokered convention..get ready...it might happen.
    https://www.brookings.edu/blog/fixgo...e-one-in-2016/

Because the primaries get so much attention, people often forget that in the end it is the delegates who award a presidential candidate the nomination. And, here’s the kicker: there is no law anywhere that says these delegates can’t do exactly what they want to do if a majority of them decide. The Supreme Court has ruled on more than one occasion that political parties are protected by the First Amendment’s freedom of association and thus in most conflicts between state law and party rules the party rules win.

There are two things to know about conventions.

First, they unfold in the same way in a process familiar to those who know Roberts Rules of Order. The first vote is the vote on credentials. This vote establishes which group of people will be “seated” at the convention and therefore get to vote. In the 1972 Democratic convention the anti-McGovern forces mounted two famous credentials challenges. Had McGovern’s opponents won the credentials challenges, delegates who were not loyal to McGovern would have been seated and had the right to vote. As it happened, the anti-McGovern forces lost both challenges and Senator George McGovern won the nomination.

The second vote is the vote on rules. This vote establishes the rules under which the convention will operate. A draft is prepared by the Democratic National Committee and the Republican National Committee. But right before the conventions a convention rules committee votes on the rules that get sent to the convention. The convention rules committee, in contrast to the party’s rules committee, generally is controlled by forces loyal to the presidential candidates. In 1976 Ronald Reagan waged a rules fight in his attempt to deny President Gerald Ford the Republican nomination and in 1980 Senator Ted Kennedy waged a rules fight in his attempt to deny President Jimmy Carter the convention. They both lost.

Nonetheless these were serious challenges and they tested the delegate strength of those at the convention who wanted to deny the front-runner a first ballot nomination. That’s why they are called “test votes.”

The second thing to understand about brokered conventions is that they generally occur when there are deep splits inside the Party—splits that can’t be easily papered over.

Watched part of the Democratic debate last night or at least tried to. Gotta give them credit though as the only thing they seemed to agree on was they all said they were the only one that could beat Trump in November. The infighting on the stage was comical to say the least.. Warren going ballistic with Bloomberg,Mayor Pete calling out Sanders on his socialism Said all the Democratic congressman that won the seats in 2018 would likely lose their seats if Bernie is the nominee.. All that in the first twenty or so minutes. Who won the debate?? Once again I believe Trump won.
