I am quite sure if it was your job on the line, you wouldn't be pounding your fists on your chest. Let a few hundred thousand workers head to the unemployment line? That's a great idea. When are you running for office?

That's right. They owe you nothing because they made good on the deal. A successful venture brought to you by the Obama administration. Your brand of capitalism has a place. It's somewhere between that white stuff that forms at the corners of your mouth when terribly parched and toe jam. The stench is unbearable. You promote dismantling environmental and safety measures for the almighty dollar. That's the capitalism Unionists have fought against for decades. That's my program.

They never made good on the deal, they took the money and ran, not sure of exact percentage they repaid but it was small. No success just passing the buck.

All he did was circulate the money to keep his voting block. Why don't you ask all the management non-contractual employees at Delphi that lost everything, thats right we are not supposed to care about them because they didnt belong to the union. They dont exist right !!!

Please provide the figures of repayment you speak of. If you have trouble finding factual information......They are posted on our site if you care to look.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but all those that lost employment over the harsh reality of corporate carnage do feel our sorrow. I wipe back a tear or two every day thinking about what a raw deal many of those pinnacles of society received as they laughed all the way to the bank.

Capitalism. Isn't it a wonderful thing? Keep dreaming about fairness for all. That sounded more like socialism from you. Fairness? It won't happen with what capitalism morphed into.

So corporate carnage means my tax dollars bail out a company that couldn't prosper, then doesn't fully repay. What a system, works both ways, you preach fairness as long as it fits your agenda.
Your boy took care of all the union employees, everyone else got screwed, that is your side of fairness.
Socialism is your agenda not mine.Your agenda will never break my bubble, because i will never follow double talk and BS that is promoted as being right.

I believe they did pay back in full.. The only thing I didn't like about the bailout is that GM took some of the money and invested it outside of the country.. Now that is what I remember but you should remember I am retired and sometimes my memory is not the best..

Still waiting for those numbers on repayment. Perhaps fxstc could show you the light? He's jambed them up a few of the deniers asses more than once around here. A company that couldn't prosper you say? Care to provide those numbers and market share after the helping hand they received? Better compare them with what the tab would have been sending those hard working folks to the unemployment line.

I'm still preaching fairness that fits a Unionists agenda, not a corporate :(:(:( kissers. You might want to actually read what we post on these threads. You'll have your eyes opened a time or two.

BTW, the king of double talk and BS now resides in the Whitehouse. Or is that Spicer's title. It's probably a toss up.

Some companies did not repay the government after they borrowed on the TARP loans.
Chrysler and GM failed to repay everything they borrowed. The list then shows dozens and dozens of banks and other financial services companies that also did not repay.
Those loans kept thousands of people working.
So tell me what is any different when Mr. Trump "saved" those jobs at Carrier, less then 800 jobs, but the state of Indiana then provided Carrier with 700 million in tax incentives to "save" those jobs ?
    Any difference?
As you say, what a system, works both ways.
    Sure does.

My Unionists agenda is why many enjoy a decent living, have work rules, have a pension. Union or not. What we have today is because folks stood up and fought against those wanting to squelch our voice. We raised the bar for all the middle class and will fight to continue to do so. I don't buy what the latest snake oil salesmen to inhabit the Whitehouse is selling. He does have a chance. When those bills to strip our environmental protections and safety rules cross his desk he has an opportunity to right the wrongs for us, let's see what happens.
