Default As Media Focuses on Russia Collusion, Trump Is Quietly Stacking the Labor Board with

The big difference between Obama and Trump, or should I say one of the big differences as there are many, is that Obama may not have done enough for unions (although I think he did a lot) where Trump is doing exactly the opposite of what he promised union members and Americans in general. No I am not wearing my "liberal blinders." It is fact.

It might not get as much press coverage as other Donald Trump administration calamities, but the U.S. president is set to appoint a known union buster to the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), push the body to a Republican majority and reverse Obama-era protections that rankle Big Business.

On July 13, the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions (HELP) Committee held hearings on Trump’s two NLRB selections and his deputy labor secretary pick. All three of these men are expected to be confirmed.

William Emanuel, one of Trump’s NLRB appointees, is a management-side attorney and a member of the conservative Federalist Society. He is also a shareholder of Littler Mendelson, an infamous union busting firm that was most recently brought in by Long Island beer distributor Clare Rose to negotiate a contract full of pay cuts.
Emanuel was asked about Littler Mendelson’s anti-union work by Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren. “You have spent your career at one of the country’s most ruthless, union-busting law firms in the country,” she said. “How can Americans trust you will protect workers’ rights when you’ve spent 40 years fighting against them?”

Are you implying the nomination of Mr. Emanuel to the NLRB won't have a negative effect on labor relations and unionism in this country ?

Nope!! I don't doubt it.. And I have sent an e-mail to the white house and saying it.. Have you?? But I find it funny that no matter what Trump does there are some that put a negative spin on it.. Trump could give every American $100,000 and the liberals would be bitching that the gifts would be taxed.. The hatred is beyond belief..

    Nice example.
The only thing Mr. Trump gives to others outside his family, are problems.

No, I haven't sent an e-mail to the White House.
Why bother ? It means nothing to the supreme leader.

Trump has given lots to outside of his family but you just don't want to believe it ...

As far as not sending an email to the white house or even your local politicians about an issue that you are upset about is the equivalent of a union worker bitching about the union but refusing to dress it at union meeting.. Now that is just my opinion..

Believe it ? I see what he gives. Problems, lawsuits and tax evasion so that the working man pays for his family's wealth.

    That's your opinion.
I protest in appropriate places and times.
Sending an e-mail is useless if it isn't acted on.
One look at these petitions will tell you nothing matters to Trump except his private wealth and his over inflated ego.
