And strappy is back to tell us we are all socialists.
Then he says the corporations don't play a part in low wages and the immigrants they employ.
Finally, he says it's not about "us". I guess he means pure white red neck Americans.
Nope, not about us, because that isn't America.

America isn't finished. But people like you are.

Since I posted the rules for taking communion in the Catholic Church....I will post that this nutty Pope has approved this......totally insane stuff this Pope does.......there will be no Catholic Faith soon if he remains in charge.....
The group is headed by Father Fredo Oliviero, an apologist for illegal immigration, who has the support of his archbishop, Monsignor Cesare Nosiglia. The practice of the group to distribute Holy Communion to non-Catholics, is openly promoted in the newspaper of Turin Archdiocese "La Voce e il Tempo".

Among the members of the group are "Catholics", Anglicans, Baptists, Waldensians and Lutherans. They gather once a month in one of their churches, where they celebrate a "Eucharist" according to the respective denomination, distributing "Communion" to everybody.

According to Fra Cristoforo, writing on maurizioblondet.it, these abuses are recommended by Pope Francis. Archbishop Nosiglia is informed about them but does not intervene. The future goal is to spread such gatherings to other Italian cities.

Distributing Holy Communion to people who do not share the Catholic Faith and have not previously confessed their sins, profanes the Holy Species, leads the participants to condemnation, and promotes superstition.

Slave, no disrespect meant but what on earth does this have to do with a teamster being deported? I think this topic would make another great topic but not for this thread.

After Member Is Deported, New York Teamsters Declare Themselves Sanctuary Union

Wow, I keep learning more details on this case. This is absolutely nuts!
Welcome to Interviews for Resistance. We’re now several months into the Trump administration, and activists have scored some important victories in those months. Yet there is always more to be done, and for many people, the question of where to focus and how to help remains. In this series, we talk with organizers, agitators and educators about how to resist and build a better world.

George Miranda: This is George Miranda. I am president of the 120,000-member Teamsters Joint Council 16. It’s an umbrella group made up of 27 different local unions in New York City.

Sarah Jaffe: Let’s start at the beginning. One of your members was deported last week, right?

George: Correct. Eber Garcia Vasquez was deported basically because his asylum case was rejected. He has been a Teamster for 26 years and has been working in this country and raising his family on that. He has been reporting in routinely, as he is required to.

This time, he went in, and they kept him and scheduled him for deportation. He left behind his family, including three kids. He married a U.S. citizen, and his three kids are U.S. citizens. He was on his way to a green card. Now he is in Guatemala. That is the story. If it happens to him, it could happen to anybody.

I would still like to see an explanation of why illegals lower wages ? Here is a working Teamster and he makes the same pay as others within his craft.
I doubt it is an isolated incident either.

Some would stereotype illegals as dumb, stupid and uneducated.
Seems many are smart enough to understand an education and a good job leads to a successful lifestyle.

Well from what I have witnessed in CA and New Mexico, owners of companies hire illegals and pay them quite low. Such as in construction and factory work. Now with union jobs it's a whole different matter.

Yes, my point being that a unionized worker makes the same as all the other men / women in their craft.

As for the company owners that hire illegals and pay them less, much less. Well we all know who benefits from that.
In that respect, it's the company owners that promote lower wages and cheap labor.
It's the same around here. The construction industry is full of traveling workers that follow a company to jobs all over the region because that have secured contracts with large firms to build cookie cutter box stores, etc.

Just got to read the whole thread and I have to agree with Slave.. If the guy has been here for over twenty five years working as a teamster then why didn't he get his papers straightened out?? An illegal is an illegal.. And it was mentioned about how some don't want to work?? Most likely true but I would wager that there were others that would have liked that teamster job.. Like wifey said in an earlier post, lots of grey area..

What it has to do with is breaking down conditions to the point of there not even being any conditions anymore.......the whole religion is gone.
The Church has rules to be in communion with the Church. I posted them earlier in this thread.
The Church has rules and they are breaking them down......to the point of not even knowing who is Catholic or in communion with the Chruch at all..........
The Church is one group who has also come out in support of all this immigration stuff too..the DACA thing stands out recently...and Francis laying guilt trips on everybody for not taking in these dangerous middle eastern refugees.

The Teamsters have rules.....We will not tolerate nonunion employees working in our shops in the northeast.....and Long Island would be particularly tough on scabs working their jobs......not gonna happen.

America has rules.....you need to do whatever them rules say or you cannot be here.

It's a principle, if broken which will totally destroy all three, the Church, America, and the Teamsters.....if the basic rules are not followed.
The Church has rules to be in communion with it.
The Teamsters have rules to join the union up here.

If you take any of those three things away has rules to become a legal American.
listed above...there is no meaning to being a teamster...because nobody needs to join.
There is no meaning to be a catholic...because anybody can receive communion.
There's no definition of who our people are if everybody doesn't have to become legal........
This is a very serious principle.......all being destroyed for emotion......to be accepted by society.

There's rules to join all three.
Without them rules...they no longer exist eventually....for anybody could go to a Catholic Church...anybody could work a long Island teamster job.
Anybody could cross our borders and be an American...........................

I alos would probably bet that 95%, maybe more, of our terminal would not support signing to bring back somebody that was here illegally.......and I'd say that the blue states who voted Trump......would have a similar percent in not signing within their union ranks.....a high percent.......Life is tough on all of us.....and they probably ain't gonna be giving any concessions back to any unions anywhere...and they probably ain't gonna bail out the pensions......and they ain't gonna give back marriages lost or families broken or houses lost due to any cruelty of our economy or government policies.......they have no sympathy for illegals. And by Hoffa and this joint council using our unions name for something that a hell of a lot of teamsters do not agree with is very risky knowing the thoughts and the state of morale towards the officials and Obama...and the dems.
They put more of a divide in than it is worth.....they risk the little unity that is left.
