YOU'VE BEEN FOOLED! 'ELIXIR OF LIFE' IS NO SCARY TOXIN

Exclusive: Vijay Jayaraj reveals truth about carbon dioxide and climate change

Since coming to live in Delhi and attending various government functions related to environment and climate, I’ve been struck by the government’s repeated emphasis that carbon dioxide is not a pollutant.

    For a well-informed mind, this shouldn’t be a surprise.

Carbon dioxide is a greenhouse gas that enables all life forms to flourish on earth. It is an odorless, colorless gas – non-toxic at levels 20 or more times the atmospheric concentration – that is the elixir of life.

However, the media and global governing entities have adopted a strange narrative during the past three decades. They vilify carbon dioxide as the single most undesirable and dangerous gas on the planet. One American opinion magazine even went so far as to call it “far more deadly” than the Sarin gas Syrian President Bashar al Assad used to poison his people. (Hint: A lethal dose of Sarin is about one-half milligram. The average person exhales over 1 million times as much CO2 per day – about 1.04 kilograms.)

Fooled? Hardly. Carbon Dioxide in high concentrations is deadly. Was my science teacher wrong?

I think the OP should sit in a room filled with CO2. Then he could proceed to tell us with a hands on approach if CO2 is dangerous or not.

Yes you would surely die. But plant life flourish and accelerate for it it a plant food. The faster and more abundant they grow the more CO2 the consume and remove.

I am sure you can find a rebuttal, but studies still show excessive CO2 is harmful, even for plant life.
Sample crops, grasslands, and forests all seemed to lose some ability to absorb nutrients when exposed to rising CO2 levels in large-scale field experiments held in eight countries across four continents.
"The findings of the study are unequivocal. The nitrogen content in the crops is reduced in atmospheres with raised carbon dioxide levels in all three ecosystem types," Johan Uddling, a researcher with the University of Gothenburg, said in a statement.
"Furthermore, we can see that this negative effect exists regardless of whether or not the plants' growth increases, and even if fertilizer is added.

How Much CO2 Do I Need?

Maintain 1200-1500 PPM of CO2 in grow room for best results when growing marijuana

Millions of years ago when plants were evolving there were much higher levels of CO2 in the air than there is now. As a result, plants evolved to be able to use higher amounts of CO2 as part of the photosynthesis process, up to about 1500 PPM (parts per million).

Even though CO2 levels in the air are much lower today at around 400 PPM, plants are still able to use CO2 levels at the higher concentrations, allowing them to produce more energy from the same amount of light. Growers can take advantage of this increased growth by providing extra CO2.

That means in order for CO2 enrichment to be the most effective, you want to maintain levels up to 1500 PPM of CO2 in your grow space with very bright light.

So you believe. Then the real crime is what they intend to do about it. punish america through tax. Making american products far more expensive. Job lose. Higher costs on everything. Final result? More CO2 for other countries will benefit and do business in a less then friendly CO2 way

High carbon dioxide levels can retard plant growth, study reveals
But an unprecedented three-year experiment conducted at Stanford University is raising questions about that long-held assumption. Writing in the journal Science, researchers concluded that elevated atmospheric carbon dioxide actually reduces plant growth when combined with other likely consequences of climate change -- namely, higher temperatures, increased precipitation or increased nitrogen deposits in the soil.
