The Wall ?
I will state again that I think the wall is a waste of taxpayer money, even though the promise by our President was that Mexico will pay for the wall.
Sure they will. Soon as we ( the taxpayer funds it ) it will all be forgotten and they will move on the the next diversionary issue.
If trucks are still being used to bring in illegals, then how will the wall stop them ?
If one truck, or two trucks are caught, how many get though ?
A California traffic stop of a truck was discovered to be hauling 77 illegal immigrants packed inside the sweltering cargo area on Monday.
It is the second such truck stop in a week, on Friday a truck was discovered carrying 76 immigrants in Texas.
How many illegals get though all those tunnels ?
Border Patrol agents in El Paso, Texas found a 75-foot tunnel along the U.S. bank of the Rio Grande river – and one former Border Patrol chief believes its origins could go back 100 years.
The "wall" is a waste. We were lied too about the funding. It won't stop any determined person from illegally entering the US.

Re: The Wall ?
Informative article that is old, but highlights the tunnel situation around El Paso.
EL PASO – Some say stories of a maze of hidden tunnels beneath the city of El Paso are just myth while others swear that the underground pathways are real. Their existence has been the stuff of legend for over 150 years.
The hidden tunnels are said to run beneath the streets of El Paso and down into Mexico, some of them dug by smugglers, and others dating from before to the American Civil War. Some of these tunnels may just go from one house to another, but others are said to run for miles.
The remnants of tunnels under El Paso's streets tell the origins of human smuggling

Re: The Wall ?
This article will have you thinking about how many tunnels they haven't found.
Wall ? We don't need no stinking wall ... we'll go under, we'll go over ... it don't matter.
Border tunnels: Complete list of those found !More than 180 tunnel attempts have been identified by law enforcement officials since the first cross-border tunnel was documented in Arizona on May 17, 1990.

Re: The Wall ?
First, anything that POS Mulvaney says make me puke. He's a walking scum bag.
Second, read the fine print.
But the scope and political context of the two efforts are quite different.
Secure Fence Act of 2006, which called for construction of 700 miles of fencing and enhanced surveillance technology, such as unmanned drones, ground-based sensors, satellites, radar coverage and cameras.
“Today’s discussion involves fencing off the entire 2,000-mile border while the earlier debate focused on adding significant (700 miles) but still limited miles of fencing at locations designated by DHS as necessary.”
But to claim that those measures are the same as what Trump is proposing is a stretch.
