I am sure you understand that I must carefully word just about anything I post. The board may not have the argumentative antagonists we had before, but I have learned to step cautiously with words, something our POTUS might be wise to learn.
and what do you propose as an alternative?...''Fresh young and smart people to stand up for America''...like I said...SPIN...should I stand up and salute the flag now or later?...Stand Up for America!!!!...come on,gimme a break...sound bites and talking points...ok,fair enough.
I have said previously that I don't endorse Bernie. He has great ideas but I don't feel he is the right person.
like WHO?...So what your telling me is that some fresh young and smart person who stands up for all America, will,in a year and a half time take the American people by storm like some Red,White, and Blue KNIGHT in shining armor and defeat Donald Trump for President...unless of course your talking about some fresh young and smart Corporate Democrat(another barack obama?).
They are all corporate canidates, except I like that Mayor Pete has rejected a donation from a lobbyist group. Like I said, we ( or you ) aren't going to change our system overnight. The corporate world has controlled our politics for decades. That won't change in this upcoming election.
.You've said nothing...You commit to nothing...NO...anybody is better then any Corporate Democrat or Corporate Republican at this point...Tell you what,I'll give you my viewpoint now and then you can give us yours later on when the dust settles...no need for you to comment or commit yourself to anything...it's so much easier that way...
OK, deal. I'll tell you and everybody on the boards when I decide. It won't be an easy decision and frankly I don't expect people to agree with me, as I don't agree with many people now.

The ground rules have not changed and my only serious benchmark for choosing a new president is they must OPPOSE all Corporate agendas openly and consistently, and Senator Bernie Sanders has been doing just that since day one...Bernie's got working class down to earth campaign skills and a GREAT message...What if public support for Bernie, now that he has massive name recognition,is so overwhelming the public just won't shut up and begins to intensely resent it whenever Corporate Media and Corporate Democrat and Republican hacks denigrate Bernie?(you know they will)
That would be nice, I just don't see it happening. The right is so opposed to Bernie they are beside themselves. Throwing out the old tired "socialism" crap the republicans have used since FDR and the inception of Social Security.

What if enough of the public take Bernie as their own,as their proxy, and emotionally hold forth against a lying Corporate Media that is NOW hated by everyone, right, left, and center?...They're not nearly as legitimate as Bernie Sanders is in the minds of much of the public...Bernie tells the truth for the most part and Corporate media tell lies and omit the truth for the most part...
I agree. The right isn't interested in truth or facts. Neither are many on the left, as it's viewed as a form of propaganda.

Why not use what Trump has started?...The Democratic Party has delegitimized itself, has made itself into an hysterical JOKE of a party and so has the Corporate media...Trump is just plain Trump while the Republicans are just plain crazy, leaving Bernie as the only sane person standing that is also hated and attacked by BOTH Political Parties and Corporate America the public now deeply resents and mistrusts...And what Bernie holds in his hands is a Simple FDR style New Deal plan that WORKS for ALL AMERICANS...
Only sane person ? People think Trump is sane too. I'll await further information on all candidates before I decide. One thing your missing is we must nominate a person that fills in the middle. Too far to one side or the other brings us to the same scenario we are dealing with today.

Bernie Sanders is honest, genuine and trustworthy, and he's profoundly more adept at understanding working class Americans for WHO they are and WHAT they believe in...A rare quality for a politician indeed...Trump's version of populism proved STRONGER than Corporate Media and irresistible for its ratings...Bernie's simple message of decency and fair play will fill stadiums and attract millions of Americans...But Bernie Sanders is fighting an uphill battle not only against Corporate Republicans and the Corporate Media, but against his own Backstabbing Corrupt Corporate Democratic Party that would rather see four more years of Donald Trump then a genuine Democratic Socialist reach the White House...maybe by election time and before the Democrats ''CHEAT'' Bernie again, maybe by then we'll have some fresh young and smart people to stand up not only for America, but will stand up and CONDEMN the Corruption that is BOTH Political Parties in this Country....My advise....''DON'T HOLD YOUR BREATHE''
    I won't.

I think we have seen there can be a grass roots candidate that has a better than average chance. It will take all of our efforts to make it happen though. Will it be enough?

Don't you wish we could pack all of what those folks you mentioned bring to the table into one candidate? It would be a no brainer without an argument. Wishful thinking on my part for sure. One can dream and hope I suppose?

What frustrates me the most is the ignorance we see in regards to the ideas our left leaning candidates bring. That ghastly word "Socialist" strikes fear into the "base" much the same way "investigation" does to the Russian asset occupying the Whitehouse. They believe anything President Hannity says.

Trump Lashes Out on Twitter Over Firefighters’ Support of Biden

WASHINGTON — President Trump unleashed a barrage of retweets early Wednesday that appeared to counter a notion that Democratic presidential hopeful Joseph R. Biden Jr. has the backing of all the firefighters in the country. The sheer volume of retweets signaled the president’s anxiety about losing union support in the 2020 presidential election to Mr. Biden, who now leads the crowded Democratic pool of candidates.

The*national firefighters’ union endorsed Mr. Biden, the former vice president, on Monday, just days after he*announced his campaign to run*for the Democratic nomination. During his first campaign speech the same day, Mr. Biden positioned himself as the best president for union workers, a group of voters who supported Mr. Trump more than expected in the 2016 election.

“I make no apologies. I am a union man. Period,” Mr. Biden said in his speech.

''Union man?''...Joe Biden is a LIAR...Biden,the ''Friend of Labor'' is being FUNDED by Multimillionaires...Need I remind you,Biden's campaign rally began with his meeting with CORPORATE EXECUTIVES and UNION BUSTING LAWYERS...That's who is FUNDING his campaign, that's who he OWES his Allegiance too...How many times?,how many times?...FOLLOW...THE...MONEY!!!!!!!!!

Union-Busting Lawyer to Host Biden's 1st Fundraiser Thursday – Payday Report

    https://www.commondreams.org/news/20...-comcast-blue#

And now the FACTS...Comcast CEO Brian Roberts earned $32.5 Million in total compensation in 2018,however,an installer at Comcast earns $38,146 dollars, and that includes bonuses and any additional compensation...So Biden is telling us after taking $$$$ from Roberts he's going to support that WORKING CLASS installer...That's BS...He's a POS Corporate Democrat telling you what you want to hear..

Comcast Corporation is especially important to the security state, since the Corporate Media will be working with the intelligence agencies making CERTAIN that MSNBC and CNN will give Biden optimum coverage to ENSURE that he gets the Democratic nomination...Here we go AGAIN...Corporate Media is deploying all the USUAL SCHEMES...They're releasing political polls with FABRICATED DATA indicating Biden is far more popular than any other Democratic candidate...MORE CORPORATE SPIN AND BS...

One MSNBC poll was especially interesting,it noted that Biden was especially popular with African American Women...I'm sure Anita Hill would have something to say about that...She personally experienced Biden's VERBAL ABUSE aimed at Humiliating and Discrediting her on National TV...Corporate Joe headed the the SHAM Clarence Thomas hearings...Corporate Joe's job was to GUARANTEE the appointment of a ''RIGHT-WING-CONSERVATIVE'' to the Supreme Court...So much for Corporate Joe being a UNION MAN,PERIOD...He's so full of S$$T...FOLLOW....THE....MONEY....PERIOD!!!!!

Corporate Joe Biden is a man of the people, but ONLY if those people are MULTIMILLIONAIRES,CORPORATE EXECUTIVES,UNION BUSTING LAWYERS,and CORPORATE MEDIA!!!!
